Where did you get it from?

What’s the general consensus for these? Worth the $89?

    • +2

I've got some and I love them. They don't get in the way, charge lasts more than long enough for me. I'm no audiophile, and this is intended as bone conduction, so I'm not sure how many other products there are to compare to for audio quality.

I love these things, they're perfect for office situations, it feels like you're listening to a radio in the room that only you can hear. Also awesome for mowing the lawn etc when you're wearing earplugs. They're not worn for sound quality though so be warned of that, in saying that though they're not that bad at all.

      • What about sound leakage in the office environment? is that a problem?.

        • +1

Only on the higher volume, it can leak but that is pretty damn loud! I sometimes get paranoid everyone car hear it but when I take it off its absolute whisper quiet. They're seriously awesome tech I reckon.

I have the Trekz Air version and they are excellent for working from home, comfortable for all day use and can hear what's going on around. For a relatively quiet home office there is no issue at all with the microphone clarity. The big bonus is that the air version allows connection to 2 devices simultaneously via bluetooth so there is no need to swap headsets when using the phone or a call on the computer. Don't know if the Titanium allows this (not mentioned for either models) , wish they would make it clear as it is such a good feature.

  • These are ok, but if you have an issue with the headset, prepare to be part of a horrid warranty process in having to deal with the Australian distributor.

Aftershokz themselves are very quick, but the distributor doesn't respond to emails or phone calls so you have no idea where the process is at. Terrible. I'd avoid the headsets on that alone.

    • Really? I've messaged them on Amazon before about an actual issue and was sent a replacement unit very quickly. Different people, different experiences I guess. Good to know there's been issues before though with warranty!

    • you forget you are dealing with amazon here

      • Yep. Amazon are great, but mine were not bought on Amazon. Been a bit of a disaster really. The Australian distributor needs to lift their game. Service is appalling.

  • I listened to these a while back and it was really nice. The in ear stuff always falls out for me and now I'm busy trying to get more active I ordered one. Tx OP

i would like the open move model more i think. $129 right now if sub $100 i'll get one.
    using usb C charging

  • I have 2 of these and wear them all day forgetting they are even on my head. My use is primarily audiobooks and phone calls. Their 6-hour constant use claim is valid. I wear mine from 8am until Midnight listening for about 6hrs and I generally have to swap them at about 11pm. The quality is excellent for my use the only noticeable issue is that being non-adjustable they sit back further than I would like because of my large head.

    • yes i have plantronic (not bone) but similar design and because my small head, the thing is hanging at the back of my head i wish they are adjustable so can be flushes against our head hair

  • Great headset. Had mine for about 3 years and was working fine until my 3 year old kid twisted and broke the frame last week.

Bear in mind they are bone conduction, which means that you can still hear the environment sound while listening to your songs, therefore sound quality will not be the same as if you had "conventional" in year headphones.

Still, their sound quality is nice enough. Perfect during practice of sports such as running and cycling.

    Totally worth the $89 .
