  I always felt that jumpstarters with USB ports are kind of counterintuitive. Sure, they're a hell of a lot more useful than not having, but what if the charge drops below the minimum for jumping because your kid's been chugging away at an iPad for the last two hours?

    Very handy for camping with the right setup. Charge phone/ipad with jump starter, use battery box (which is charged by solar) to charge jump starter. Yeah could just use the battery box to charge the phone/ipad directly but don't really like leaving devices like that laying around in reach of passes by (battery box is mounted to front of caravan)

    Jump starters stay in my car. So if my kids need to charge their ipad in the car, they can use my USB ciggie lighter charger instead.

  Has been $139 for 30+ days, no bargain.
  Gooloo always jack up their prices, then provide a 'discount' to make it the same price as previously.

    And the cheapest US price is US$98.99, which is AU$130. So $139 is a great price and the included charger also has an Aussie plug.

      Camelcamelcamel doesn't effectively track redeemable vouchers or promotional credits, that are available most of the time and make the unit price static $139 over the last few months. Not just this unit, but other Gooloo jump start units.
      For example, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/609136 for $80 but now expired, unit is still $80 currently this time with a promotional credit.
      Another example, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/602255 for this 4000A at same price of $139 on 04/Feb.
