[Pre Order] Oppo Find X3 Neo 12GB/256GB and Oppo Watch 41mm $1197 + Free Delivery ($0 C&C) @ Officeworks

140

Looks to be a decent pre-order deal for this handset considering the redeemable 41mm Oppo Watch (runs wearOS).

Deal is available at other retailers but Officeworks appears to have put their price lower than other retailers to avoid the 5% price beat.

Available in Starlight Black and Galactic Silver.

Specs can be found here.

$1099 via Wireless 1 ebay with code: PSSAVER

btw Officeworks has free delivery over $55 spend

    • Ah yep this looks to be the better deal, only benefit would be Officeworks return policy and the convenience of dealing with a brick and mortar store.

Will also update the title, cheers.

Wireless 1 is also very good in terms of service.

    Ouch.

Poco F3 half the price and yes cameras are way worse, but everything else pretty much trump's this Oppo.

  • Is this better than the oppo find X2 pro?

    • +2

FULL HD+(402 PPI) only vs QHD+(513 PPI)
so better battery life, but won't look as good as the Find X2 Pro

Specs look to be similar but real world performance is yet to be seen. Benefits of the X3 deal would be the bonus Oppo Watch and presumably more software updates but I'm unsure specifically Oppo's update plan is.

Findings after a quick browse, OPPO Find X2 Pro wins with IP68 dust/water resistant, Corning Gorilla Glass 6, 512GB of storage though it is at least 15-20g heavier than the Find X3 Neo which I think isn't tiny.

tips: Find X3 Neo is actually Reno5 pro +, not the real FIND series.

    • +1

since the Find X3 Standard Version will not be sold officially in AU, for $1000+, I would recommend FIND X2 PRO.

Are these specs correct? SD 865 in 2021?

    • What's wrong with SD 865? This isn't the top grade flagship Find X3 Pro.

      • -2

If it's a new model, should be using the SD 870. The watch retails at $550, so I'm not sure what the deal is here?

        • So you meant $600 for a SD865 phone with Australian warranty isn't a deal? Except for the lack of ip68 this is flagship grade. A comparable Poco F3 is almost $505 for no Australian warranty, 4GB less RAM, no telephoto, smaller wide & ultrawide sensor, smaller selfie sensor.

@Bigboomboom: I'd take the SoC upgrade (by which I mean the SD 888) over the 4GB of RAM, every time.

            • @jasswolf: Where do you get a SD888 phone with Australian warranty for $600? You said it yourself, the watch is $550 retail. FYI Poco F3 has SD870 which is SD865 overclocked, not SD888. The Redmi K40 Pro with SD888 is $780 and no Australian warranty, worse camera setup.

              • @Bigboomboom: $550 marked price on a quick Google of a watch does not make that the price I (or anyone) would pay for it, and googling further, it's available for $349. I'm fully aware of what the SD870 is.

If you buy these phones locally, even if they come from the grey market, they still give you some kind of local warranty support.

                • @jasswolf: If you buy these phones locally, they are not that cheap. Poco X3 Pro base model is $280 on Aliexpress and $494 from a local grey importer. A K40/Poco F3 will be $700 by same logic.

  • Any cheaper deals without the watch?

    • I haven't see any just yet but I'd expect some to come out after it's released.

  • This or Samsung s21 plus for $800? Personally, i never think i will buy a chinese phone for more than 1000 , no matter what how good it is. Its all about brands and security, especially after trade tensions with them.

    • Using 1080P in S21+ is the worst decision Samsung made in 2021. As a long Samsung fan since S2, I bought S series every year. But I have to give up buying the S21 series this year because S21&21plus is a disaster and S21U is good but too heavy. In my opinion, the quality of the screen is one of the most important selling points of Samsung. I really cannot understand why S21&21 plus use 1080P.

      • Cost cutting and to make people buy S21 Ultra. If lower version is too good nobody want to buy high end. Look at iPhone 11 with less than FHD screen, yet it's still best selling phone for Apple and worldwide. So Apple slap U$100 price increase on iPhone 12 to justify FHD screen upgrade.

  • Is this a better deal than Oppo Find X2 Pro @ $759?

    • +1

no, X2 pro is much better than X3neo.

  • Those cameras are big bois
