Got an email for 60% off, it's on their site too, if you sign up to their email list with your birthday seems they give you a $50 dollar voucher as well, so 60% off and a $50 free if it's your birthday this weekend, (not sure how long it would take to get you that voucher), not bad deal…

Great for suits.

Not 100% sure on the expiry but it starts Jan 12.(Today)

      Yeah most of the time i don't buy but they cycle through the ranges every different sale, it's not the same stuff on sale every time, unless you have a crap store near you.

    If this is the same sale theyve had on since the start of the year, it is utterly stale. I dont think it "Starts today", I think it started boxing day. At least going by what the tarocash girl on the phone said to me.

    Most of the store isn't discounted.
    - About 1 in 5 styles of shirt are discounted.
    - The pants are on the same discount that they offer regularly. The usual ones that dont get discounted, still aren't discounted.

    If you were to actually walk into a Tarocash, I think you'd agree that this is advertising, not a bargain. I would LOVE to neg them as I think they are being quite insulting to consumers to call this a sale. However, unless the mods have walked into a tarocash lately, I'm guessing the neg would get removed…

      Fine to neg the deal if you like, but don't like being called a liar, they may have had repeated deals since christmas, but this one did "start today", as the email said, here's the link the screen shot i took, should have put this up originally.

    Many of their cloths are of really good quality and they look quite good too. Normally they are a bit expensive but when on sale - they are a bargain.

    They have stuff on sale most of the time. Shirts discounted from $89.95 to $30, $40 etc…

    Not the greatest stuff, but with the birthday $50, can't complain!!

      $90 for a cheaply made shirt - i think its a rip off in the first place…!
      I think $45 for that kind of shirt would still be like not a cheap price

        people are mad if they pay that for the junk that tarocrap sells, you can go to DFO and get ralph lauren shirts on sale for $40-$60.

          I went tonight, paid 25 a shirt. Will last me a year at least, never had a problem with them.

    The quality of the stitching is poor, hence the ripple effect on all their shirt seams(this makes them look cheap). Their 'work' trousers are 100% synthetic or man-made fabrics. This is ok in winter but in summer you will sweat and smell. On the positive side their cuts are more fashionable than most men's retailers in this price-arena. I find their prices to be too high for the fabrics used. The same comment as previous…their Sales more hype than they suggest and their website is something from the dark ages.

    Was my hubby's birthday this month. With his $50 voucher, we got a shirt discounted from $90 to $40, and a t-shirt… out of pocket $10 for the 2 items. My hubby was impressed to see all my hours on ozbargain having some benefits (to him directly). Must admit that's the only time we've ever bought from Tarocash though.

    Not sure how you're all bagging the quality of the shirts, I've never had a problem with them and their designs are fantastic IMO. Anyway, each to their own. I never pay the $80-90, always wait until they come down to $40-50

    I think they are pretty decent as someone mentioned there is usually a hefty price tag but then their designs are way bettter and the colour choice n contrats are more unique.. But i will have to agree their is no sale the items which are on apparent sale is thr one year old stock that has been down since boxing day none of their new stuff is off 60%

    the designs are hideous.. the construction is attrocious.. the staff are like vultures and the prices are stupid. But I guess the average joe doesn't care about that. I get the $50 voucher every year and give it away to someone else, the only thing I would spend it on is a belt.
