How does this compare to the old N64 Rogue Squadron games? Similar gameplay?

not really, battlefront is more similar to n64 RS

I haven't played it but from what I've seen it's supposed to be an unofficial sequel to the old PC X-Wing series of games which is very different from the N64 Rogue Squadron games.

The original X-Wing series has a little more space sim feel vs rogue squadron but I'm guessing this modern take will try to mix in both to make it work for the current audience.

Is this game really hard even on easy mode?

How does the singleplayer content score on replayability? Is it worth keeping around even without multiplayer?

I just listed my copy for sale. Wasn’t a fan. Not sure if I needed VR to make it better but found the game play pretty crappy
