And for those who got it free has anyone even made use of it?

      • Yes. Discount egift cards, when we got free $15 prepaid visa cards.

        • Which deal?

          • @crazyboy: If you didn't grab those $15 from a recent brewery promotion, it's too late now😢

      • I've only made use of the virgin discount code but I don't think the promo will last much longer.

        • Which one?

          • @crazyboy: Apologies virgin Australia promo code they have. From memory it's 10% economy

      • Made use of 20% off my car window tint which was nice

      • Yes Ampol 8c fuel discount

    • Nope didn't use any benefits yet. Mostly I get email to get 4c and 8c discounts, but I couldn't be bothered much :)

  • do those with membership or a policy get it included?

    • Yes, part of NRMA membership. They just split this out for those who don't have/need car coverage but still want the other benefits.

    • Membership isn't included with a policy afaik.

      • Yes, NRMA Road Service not Insurance (IAG)

Waste of $30 for most people

Agree. People should look at the benefits and decide whether they'll use any before purchasing. Usually I can find much better discounts elsewhere.

      • Often you can just walk in off the street and get the discount, I used to rent cars from time to time and the amount of times I heard "your already on the best rate" I felt like calling NRMA up and telling them their membership was a waste of time.

    • Might be worth something when they start to charge for their EV chargers 🚗 ⚡️

      • Yeah probably, when I called them a few years ago it was mentioned they would have portable chargers that would get people the few kms home of they got stuck, but they cammed that amd so there's zero reason for ev drivers to have road service. It's a pretty. Ig hole that will only get bigger for them if they don't value add.

Still this deal is only for blue which doesn't include roadside
