  • Personal taste but I didnt like them. I got them half price at coles (about $2.5?) And i chucked most of them out

I put them in sparkling mineral water (store bought, not sodastream) and they taste great to me.

      • I also do this, would recommend as well as it does taste great. Off to the reject shop next shop.

      • I tried that and it was an improvement but still not good by my taste. I prefer them in lemonade.

It is not almost expired grocery.

I hate this mentality. It's a best before date.
It's not going to explode 1st July FFS.

With that aside, it tastes like it already has spoiled. Wouldn't recommend.

These are pretty nice and convenient to chuck in a water bottle. I quite like the rose flavoured one.

  • The Queen’s tea at a peasant price!

    Lollll it sounds odd

  • Weren't these the plastic weaved bags that was found to contain high amounts of microplastics? https://au.news.yahoo.com/which-teabags-have-microplastics-i…

I would recommend cutting them out of the little tea bags, rinse under cold water for a few seconds before loose-brew them in the cup.

    • The researchers suggested that the high number of particles that had come from the bags could have been due to the boiling water they were steeped in.

That sounds like a reasonable hypothesis. I might consider precautions for using the plastic type in hot liquid, but am less concerned about in cold liquid.

    • I did it for my green tea bag, it is hard to buy loose green tea from coles/wws, they are always packed in weaved bag. I cut them and pour green tea into pot to bred them. Then filtered it.
