  • just to confirm, can you buy itunes cards with woolworths gift cards?

    • +1

Unlikely, as it won't let you pay for Gift Card with Gift Cards.

      • Not sure why, but when I bought lots of stuff + gift cards, using my Woolies gift cards, at the counter, the staff did not say anything.

    • +2

Nope. If you wanna do so, wait for the same deal at Coles.

    • +2

      Can confirm this doesn't work.

I tried this at Woolworths Marrickville. The shop assistant even put it through for me but their system wouldn't let you buy a iTunes gift card with a Woolworths gift card.

    • Try officeworks to beat extra 5%. I did it a few months ago.

Where the heck are the Play Store card sales?

    • Blue moon.

As in once in a blue moon.

    • +2

What can you use them for now that Google music's disappeared?
I've got a heap of Play credit that I previously used on the Play music store to buy music tracks, but now find anything useful to spend it on. I find that I can only load so many apps onto my phone before I can't remember what they are and navigating them all becomes cumbersome.

        • Thanks. I hadn't realised that I could use GC to pay subscriptions. That said, my identical twins, Jose and Sanjiv are probably saving more than I'd ever be able to save with gift cards.

  • +2

Remember you will most likely be able to price match at Officeworks to get a total 19.25% off

    • +5

Yep, already mentioned in the description.

      • +2

Just thought I’d mention it again. In case people don’t read the description and go straight to the comments.

  • Does anyone know if you can pay for Stan and Binge with itunes credit?

I know you can't pay for Netflix (unless you were grandfathered) but Can for Disney+

    • I've tried and I asked Stan's customer service, but you can only pay for Stan if you sign up with a new account and select pay via App Store or Apple Pay. Once you've already got an account there is no way.

      Not sure about Binge

But Disney + does let you!

    • why would you want to anyway? aren't generally all app store subscriptions more pricy than going directly to the companies website (if that's an option)?

    Sanitarium Weet-Bix 375g - $1.90

    Typo, should be 575g

    • +1

      Thanks, updated.

  • iTune cards and Weet-Bix for me. What a combo.

    • Netflix and chill
      Or
      iTune and Beet-Wix

      • Netflix and Weet-Bix

  • Do the 12 packs of Up&go go on sale anymore? I prefer them because less plastic.

    • +1

The 12 pack are rarely on sale as they are a "Low Price Always" product at Woolworths and "Every Day/Down Down" product at Coles.

  • doesn't seem to stack with the 10% off woolworths shop unfortunately.
"Excludes any vouchers or offers or Delivery Saver items, bag fee and crate service fee, internet cafes, purchases of liquor, smoking/tobacco products and accessories, newspapers, Woolworths Services, Gift Cards (including iTunes)," Ref: https://insurance.woolworths.com.au/promotions/10-off-your-s…

OW PB seems the way to go.

  • Waiting for the usual ATO comments/jokes

    • Why ATO?

      • Because you pay ATO via iTunes Gift Cards.

  • Why can't I buy these gift cards online?

  • OW pricematch compete. $200 more in the Itunes account.

    Cheers!

    • First time doing this, how do you price match with Officeworks? Do you just call them? What do you say?

      Thanks in advance :)

      • +1

Just call them (1300 633 423) and request a price-match. Quote the store (and catalogue page number) you want to price match with.

If they refuse, just try call again later.

        • Thank you! Got it ordered.

          • @timliu1996: Do they provide the gift card instantly or mail it out when doing on the phone?

            • @NoDowt: Hi, you can get it delivered at extra cost or you can collect them in store.

I used C&C and my account's order page shows it's "Preparing your order"

              • @timliu1996: Ah cool, might as well just go instore then rather than ring up.

                • @NoDowt: Yeah if you can get pice matched in store please let me know, saves me spending 20 minutes from calling them

                  • @timliu1996: Worked for me. The $50 was the one in the catalogue so they asked me to get the $50x2 instead of $100… took a while though had to get a manager out

  • Price matched at Officeworks North Ryde, they did have to lookup the catalog and then needed a manager to approve on the system. I got 2*100.

  • Just tried purchasing a $30 iTunes gift card in my local Woolworths and there was no discount applied. Got home and found the current Woolies catalogue and it’s listed as only the $50 that gets the 15% in the catalogue

    • The online catalogue has:

Offer available on all denominations of App Store & iTunes Gift Cards excluding $20 and Variable App Store & iTunes Gift Cards

      • Not sure why the $30 didn’t work then. Noticed someone else has said the same thing

        • I just bought a $30 one and it scanned at $25.50 at the register. Not sure why it didn’t work for you.

  • Just tried to buy a couple cards from local Woolies and they refused to approve at checkout saying they're on "lockdown"?

  • In US you can use this cards to buy Apple devices. Does anyone know/have tried doing this in AU?
