      Because these are actually good? Better Dpad, multi device selector switch and programmable back buttons.

      You do lose NFC and rumble.

      This honestly feels better quality than an Xbox controller. More customisable in windows too, and works over multiple platforms.

      8bitendo controller is extremely overrated. In this style the PS4 controller is much better in terms of feel and it's more comfortable to hold. Better off getting the 8bitendo bluetooth adapter with a ps4 controller.

        I've got a switch pro (not bad, 7.5/10), an Xbox One regular (6/10), an Xbox One Elite Series 1 (V.good, 9/10), an 8-bitdo NS30 (great! 8/10, but not ergo), a PS5 (8/10 for now, haven't used it much tbh), and a 360 (good for the time, 6/10 now).

        8bitdo and the Elite xbox controllers are probably the best I've used.

                @aveeno bb: I was under the impression recently they had long delays. Though in the past I found Hong Kong deliveries coming quicker than interstate deliveries.

                It seems China stuff are still taking ages, I came across many 2 plus month estimates for some cables today.

        The grippyness seems to be the only important change.

        I don't think I've ever needed more buttons but I'm guessing they are mappable/macroable.

        Nice one, that worked for me too. Can't be beat for $49. Just going to sell my Pro+ for $40ish, and enjoy the upgrade.

        I was so torn on the colour scheme though, with G-Classic being my least favourite….. The new Grey looks great, especially the PlayStation inspired buttons, but the sharp colour change from light/dark grey from the front to the back is quite jarring!

      I have similar thoughts. You could try connecting it via the USB C cable and see if it picks it up otherwise you need the 8bitdo adaptor: https://www.8bitdo.com/wireless-usb-adapter/

      EDIT I'm wrong! It doesn't allow you to use the 8bitdo with a PS5, but a PS5 controller with a switch or PC.
