  • Wouldn't be surprised if the Optus one promo comes back as a result of this.

Your title is abit confusing op, i think stating $65/pm rrp115pm is clearer.

    • Ta, updated

  • Thanks! Been waiting for this for business plans.

  • Wait…no eSIM? Does anyone know why that is? Telstra usually are no problem for eSIM

    • Billing system doesn't support eSIM yet.

If you have an eSIM already and get moved to the new plans, your eSIM will keep working - but you can't get a new one as it's not supported

  • What's the deal with no One Number? You can't even pay the additional $10 to use it on this plan?

    • +2

Billing system doesn't support it yet. It's supposed to be 'coming'

      • Wow thats surprising!

      • I’m on this plan from the previous deal and have one number enabled. I was on an existing plan with it enabled prior to moving to it though…

        • Interesting - do you have the 30 minutes free international calls, data sharing etc, all working too?

          • @b3au: Nah I don’t have them by the looks of it

Remember that a similar option is a 12-month Telstra contract through The Good Guys: 150GB pm plus a once-off $250 Good Guys eGift card for $59 per month (available until 18/4/2021)

    • I cant find the deal

      • Their standard Telstra contracts are listed under the tab "MOBILE BROADBAND DATA PLANS". But their special offers (like the one I mentioned above) are listed in the ad window just to the right of those plans, under the heading "Latest Telstra Deals". That window won't show if you have an adblocker active.

        • Ahh adblocker. Thanks mate

    • Do you know if the GG eGifts can be used straight away on purchasing iphone? Thanks

I don't know but I don't see why not. Best call them and ask

      • +1

Why is this even a question? Of course yes, you literally can use your card right away

      • +1

        Yes. I did just that

  • So if this is the XL plan, it is also only a month by month plan? Can cancel/change at any time?

If I was considering just the $65 L (80GB) plan, I should just get this instead right? No brainer yeah….

    • +1

Yep, all month to month - you can sign up and move to the 'regular' M plan for $65/month in 3 months time if you like.
With the XL plan plan, you get the $50 credit each month to bring the $115 down to $65.
The credit just drops off after 12 months, but you can move at any time between plans (you lose the $50 credit though), or port out. Not locked in.

  • They changed the expiry to July 5th on the website earlier today - but it's gone now…
