Nice if you're in the market for one.

10 bucks lower than nearest competitor, looks like: https://www.staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=kingston+a…

    • Yep!

Not the lowest it's been but my sisters M2 SSD died and I needed an upgrade from 256GB SATA as I'm travelling soon so it works for me.

      • Which m.2 SSD died (just out of interest)?

          His Sister's NVMe. Duh!

@BlameTheCat: I meant the brand and model. My experience with SSDs aren't as positive as most of the OZBers. I am hoping it is not another first gen SSD of a particular brand.

          • @BlameTheCat: Oh. NVM then.

        • It came with the laptop, I'd have to check.

Its a SATA drive, not NVME.

This is a great drive, it's fast enough for 99.9% of people and a good capacity/price.

It was $118 during the shopback 25% eBay sale. A little regret not pulling the trigger but wasn't needed

    • Same, I kind of could have used it earlier on but I'm happy with $134.

  • It this worth an upgrade from intel 660p?

i am about to pull the trigger, until i saw this freeze issue

    or P2 crucial better?

    • p2 FREEZE EITHER.

      • which one does not freeze?

My laptop and desktop come with samsung, so 970 and 980 no freeze?

        • with rams. slc/ddr

The same price at Umart, if you prefer card payment + a local shop near by.

    • Cheers, updated the post.

  • Mine arrived today and I've installed and cloned my other M2 SSD across.

Reason why I'm posting here is that this comes with a code for Acronis OEM in the packaging, it's pretty hidden on a sticker in the top half of the packaging on the inside, so don't just tear into it.

It also doesn't appear to be mentioned on the packaging from what I can tell. Kind of a silly place to put it to be honest.
