Baseus 5000pa Car Vacuum Cleaner (Green Only) $28.04 + Delivery (Free with eBay Plus) @ baseus_officialstore_au eBay

I've been watching this for a little while. Saw that it dropped in price last night so bought one. This is the cheapest I've seen it. Seems to get generally reasonable reviews if you temper your expectations for such a small unit. It's no Dyson but hoping it'll come in handy around the home office and car.

      It sucks.

I read a bunch on Amazon here. Mixed bag. My takeaway was don't expect too much from a tiny handheld vacuum and you won't be disappointed.

      • Thanks op, bought one.

Description in one of the photos says its 'Delicate'. not sure youd want a delicate vacuume

  • Thanks OP

Was eyeing these but didn't want to spend $50.

Got it for $28. Should be good for cleaning my office desk and computer.

    • No worries. Yeah, that was my use case for it too.

Needs a smaller nozzle with no bristles to do car nooks and cranies

Funny, I thought the same thing. I'm going to 3D print one. I've done the same with my ShopVac for specific jobs and to adapt other hoses to it.

      • The bendy hose nozzle looks to narrow and fragile. Can anyone comment on it's suck ability?

        • I think I read somewhere that the bendy hose nozzle is only for blowing? Don't quote me on that.

      • if you do this, any chance you'd be willing to sell them to us fellow OZBers?

I'd be happy to share my design. You'd probably be better off getting it 3D printed locally to save you postage, which is almost $10. I used to use 3dhubs.com to find local providers and it worked well. If someone really wanted me to ship one, I could look at it.

Looks like someone's already had a crack at it - here.

  • for car vac , suggest to try kmart 12v socket powered mini vac for cheap

    • tried that, vacuum is too weak. Plus have to start the car to use it. Better off with a handheld vacuum like v10 or something.

Green only? Shucks. When I'm looking for a car vacuum, colour choice is top of my list.
