  • Am I reading correctly that it will not charge iPhones any faster than good old 2.4 amp / 12w?

    • It supports both, Latest as well as old Apple fast charging protocols. The description essentially shows that it supports both the protocols. Single USB-A output is 36W Max.

  • Any idea how heavy it is in grams with the Australian Adapter?

  • Looks very nice! … Pity though that the orientation of the pins on the Australian adapter results in the charger (and the product name) then being 'upside down' when plugged into a conventional wall socket, with charging LEDs likely obscured by the charging cables. Looking at other GAN chargers on Amazon, with Australian adapters, this seems to be a widespread issue.

    • Because they're designed with the Chinese plug in mind, which is upside down compared to Australia

  • RCM Certification?

  • Doesn't appear to have 20V - so won't work with most USB-C powered laptops

    • Please refer to the updated specs. We had provided PPS specs only earlier. You can also check the demonstration video in the link provided. Works perfectly with most laptops.

  • It's a shame that for an Australian charger it's missing the RCM mark and the Australian plug makes it upside down, otherwise I would have grabbed one.

      We do understand the importance mate and we are working on that currently. We should have the RCM soon as we already have CB. Our upcoming 2 products launching next month do have RCM mark. We have also noted the "upside down" issue and will ensure we resolve that in future projects.

  • Looks a lot like this re-branded https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/611992 the minix comes with additional country adapters, and is cheaper too.

    • 1) GaN Chip manufacturer's are limited. Same GaN Chips are used by many manufacturers so the end products look & perform identical too. For instance, Belkin & Alogic 68W chargers, Cheotech & Ravpower 65W chargers.
      2) For Aliexpress Chinese brands - Probably wait forever for the Delivery & I don't see any Warranty info from MINIX. We are an Australian Company and Sydney based on the other hand for hassle free warranty claims, if any :)
      3) Powerpod-66 comes with the Travel adapters too :)

  • Just want to confirm that USB-C has the PD3.0/2.0 protocol? Assume it's a typo but wanting to confirm
