I'm still frustrated there's no actually good deals on 32" right now. Or even 40.
Come on Aus Post, discount again.

43" is just a LITTLE too big for the area I need to squeeze it.

    Great TV though.

    • where exactly are you put this?

      once you get the 43"
you will find a way to fit it in that room

      • Inside a 'box section' built into the wall that is about 800x180

        • got a pic?
          which room is this?

can't you just put it on another wall or mount it outside the box?
or just use a table stand etc?

i don't think there is many 32 or 40 inch deals that is much cheaper than this one
also might not be as good in resolution

          • @pinkybrain: It's all 'one room' as it's part of a yacht.
There are no 'walls' per se, as being a boat, they're all fiberglass and water treated.

The person whom I'm doing to install for would not accept his dedicated TV nook is 'useless'.

It was designed for a 37" with quite a decent bezel, back in the day.

    • @MasterScythe I have the same problem. I need a 32"/40" TV to fit inside a cupboard - where are the deals on the little TVs?!?

      • +1

Best ive been able to find so far, is if you have racq or similar.

        Big W have a 32" for $189.
Code GET10 (caps) for $10 off.
Then 5% off bigW cards from woolworths through RACQ or suncorp or whoever.
        $170.05

Or, harvey norman with their Akai set,
        $199.
        3.5% off on gift cards.
But has a 3 year warranty.

Best i can find so far, unless you want to touch Soniq, but I disliked their reply when I got a software bug of "buy a new tv". Physically fine; luckily I found a chinese firmware and reflashed it' but Im not rushing to give them more business…

  • Good Guys did this in store, no hassles just asked if they could do it for $480, they logged in, said yep, and sent me to the front register!

Great quality screen. Can't vouch for the smart tv part because I use a Google TV. Has 5ghz too unlike TCL

  • would this be good for a monitor?
