Really thought they were banned from OzB

  • What does one do with 12GB of RAM on a phone ?

    • Currently using 8GB of 12GB.

    • Better question..

What does one do with a $1000+ phone?

      • +1

Brag to your povo mates what a baller you are buying $1000+ with money you don't have. Then declare bankruptcy when the company you owe money to chases you for non payment of loan.

      • Looks at my Fold 2….

        Enjoy it?

  • Assume no warranty, as it's grey (ie imported) stock.

  • If anyone is interested, $1,379.95 + free delivery at buymobile
    https://buymobile.com.au/products/samsung-galaxy-s21-ultra-gā€¦
Combine with 15% Cashback from AMEX and pay only $1,172.95
Also, the buymobile version is 256GB (but maybe not dual sim?)

    • specs say that's also Exynos? what's really the point? the price is only slightly better than Samsung's own edu store or tradein bonus price.

      • Yeah, I guess same processor as the Australian models. Good for people that aren't students and don't have anything to trade in, I guess.
I don't have one, nor will I get one but I noticed the price on the site yesterday when I was seeing if there was anything to use the AMEX offer on.

    • The 15% AMEX cashback specifies phone transactions are excluded.

  • OP linked to the shopping cart?

Dodgy company, not worth the discount.

  • You will place the order, bit after few days they will tell you its out of stock and then you will get a refund in another few days. So better stay away.

  • For those with EDU store access.

    Ultra 128gb = $1,294.30
    Ultra 256gb = $1,364.30 (white Only)
    Ultra 512gb = $1,504.30

  • Can someone tell the stories why they have bad reputation..

    • Usual over the top postage charge. The lack off comms when you buy or if you have issues with what you bought.

  • Same price for the 256GB version on their site, so if YOLO, why not get that one instead?

  • This phone gets so popular that the copycat makers have jumped onto the bandwagen.
