Firebrand Wings Stainless Steel Portable Charcoal BBQ $99.95 (Was $170) + Shipping ($0 NSW C&C) @ FireBrand BBQ

90

Hi All,

This BBQ is about the same price as a Weber Portable Grill. Benefits of this grill is the stainless steel construction that should last for many years. I understand you may not be able to use this for roast, however for direct cooking and 2 cooking surfaces, this should easily accommodate a small family.

I purchased the Matador and was underwhelmed by parts of the design. Trying this grill instead.

Price is down from $170 to $99.95 + Shipping is approx. $10 in NSW. Free is you would like to collect.

Their coals are the best on the market, so I'd have faith in this as well.

  • Looks quality.

  • Same idea as the legacy cast iron version of 'Son of Hibachi'. This SS version will be lighter.

  • Looking at getting this as my first charcoal bbq. Would this be good as a starting point? Not sure if I’ll be using it much to justify a Weber kettle at this stage.

    • Get a good used Weber charcoal kettle on ebay. They almost last forever and keep their value. If you end up using it a lot you'll have a great BBQ and if you decide charcoal is not for you then you can sell it back on ebay for very little loss. If nothing else at least get one with a cover so you can cook also roast.

      • Thanks mate!

I ended up purchasing this bbq earlier this morning, but I’ve been searching for a good used Weber kettle as well. Figured this would be good to have anyway for camping and etc!

  • Just wondering how one would put out the coals on this one without a proper lid or vent covers?
