    Great phone (typing on it now) apart from the camera which is an absolute turd - check the reviews it's a well known con with this phone. I think the Realme 8 in coming out soon. Also it rarely sold for the RRP. I paid $369 over a year ago

      The camera is decent for a $299 phone, it's certainly not a turd. Of course it cannot compare to $1,000+ flagships. This is a great package at this price.

      Just checked out some reviews of photos from it and they look pretty good for a camera of this price. Very un-turd like.

            @khrome: Honestly the phone is great. Performs like a flagship in all other respects. Coming from a Samsung S7 to Realme 6 was a step back in terms of photo quality. For the average user it would be sufficient.

            Liked how they included a phone case and screen protector already applied, was a nice touch. Finding third party cases was a bit difficult though with limited options last time I checked

      This would kick Oppo A53s in term of all specs. If only the A54 comes down to this price it would be a better choice as SD480 is close to SD690/750 performance (same CPU, same GPU just lower clocked). But currently that's $100 more.

      Better specs yes, but vs AU warranty? No.

      If you don't mind having close to zero warranty (yes Paypal yadda yadda) then buy Banggood. But against AU stock sold by Amazon with very good customer service/warranty, lots of people would go with Realme. Also Realme UI is much closer to stock android if you don't want to flash custom ROM.

      Do you get issues where Chrome constantly freezes and you need to minimize and maximise again for it to work?

      That was one of my pet peeves.
