Thanks for spoiling the oscars result :/

      Oops fixed :S

    • Reading this comment still spoils the result!

    woke

      • The woke have voted! Their anger increases because they can't cancel me. They can't violently target my home, my family, etc thanks to anonymity.

        • +2

That's a lot thinking about yourself.

      • Thank you for removing congestion from the network.

I dont know about this particular movie as i havent seen it, but I do agree on Disney and how they have become such a one sided political machine. Have ruined so many shows and movies in the process and dont seem to realise any extreme is as bad as each other. Its balance and equality where true equilibrium lies.

Perfect for a Friday night šŸæ!!

    Is this a deal?

    • +8

Downvote away, but why is this a deal? Isnā€™t it more just something good theyā€™ve added to their streaming service?

      • Because it's been discussed numerous times here and here and here. You can always filter out subscription services, mods have already confirmed these are deals.

        • +16

Nah. No deal. Forum post at best.

@LuckyDrew: In before we start seeing "deals" every time a new movie appears on netflix

          • +2

@LuckyDrew: Even that would be generous. It's not like Plus doesn't plaster ads for new content all over the menu

          • +3

            @LuckyDrew: Exactly

        • +2

And if it continually comes up as an issue…maybe it is an issue?
          This is Ozbargain not Oz-somethingdecenttostream.

          • +1

@LuckyDrew: I dunno, feels like first world issues.

@[Deactivated]: Yet here you are commenting? I donā€™t think my any of us are operating under the pretence that this matters.

              • -1

                @LuckyDrew: Commenting, not complaining ;)

I only dropped in because I noticed the movies name, I think it's the one that ended up being Chadwick Boseman's final movie.

        • Did the worst film of the year Coming To America 2 get a lot of upvotes lol.
I still haven't seen it all and use it as a weapon to fall asleep .

          • @popsiee: It's so bad. I can't believe Amazon watched that before buying it lol

    • +2

      Definitely not!

  • It will probably take a few years for them to have enough content to buy a couple months a year instead of my one .

    • +5

Really? I'm watching Disney Plus at least as much as Netflix, probably more.

    • +1

There is enough Marvel/Star Wars/Pixar content to watch for some time

    Critically acclaimed

Prefer non-critit ratings myself. From RT: "hang in there with its slow pace and downer of a story" - Frances McDormand is fantastic, and this beautifully filmed drama may even help you appreciate your own life more".

I don't get these "downer" movies. Just go watch the news for 5 minutes. You can be all be all existential and trendy without being depressing…

    • +3

But itā€™s HOW they make it a downer. Actually itā€™s a decent true events film, might open some peopleā€™s eyes about the world outside their bubble of luxury

  • +12

Not a deal and itā€™s a boring as (profanity) movie

  • +9

How is it even a bargain, you do pay for the subscription

    • +1

Well honest people pay for movies as well lol

    • Because it's been discussed numerous times here and here and here. You can always filter out subscription services, mods have already confirmed these are deals.

      • +2

        Where, where and where?

Just kidding, I don't think this is a deal either. Let's not dilute the value of OzBargain.

  • +11

Agree this is a normal addition to a subscription service. Not a deal. Plus also believe these should be on the forum.

  • Nice

  • +1

    Meh

  • -2

Don't understand why this post is getting downvoted so much in comparison to the other SUBS deals like Snyder Cut, Soul and Coming 2 America
Do people not like the movie/don't have excitement for it because its not a blockbuster?

    • +3

I'm guessing that's it's because the two that you've listed were day one releases on streaming platforms. The day one release probably gives a better perceived value.

  • -8

Geez, tough crowd…hereā€™s my plus vote. šŸ˜¬

Didnā€™t know it will be on Disney plus…Might subscribe but it looks pretty boring.

  • +1

Disney machine has lost their way but also this should be a forum post. Just one more normal addition to a streaming service.

    • +2

      Agreed, but the mods dont.
