Respawn Ninja Mechanical Gaming Keyboards: E.g. Cherry MX Brown Ergonomic Split Keyboard $99 (Was $169) + Delivery @ Mwave

50

Mwave are having a sale on Respawn Ninja gear. Similar to the sale posted a little over a month ago, seems like there's some really good deals to be had on mechanical keyboards.

Respawn Ninja RGB RN61 Kailh Red Kailh Brown Kailh Blue, $39, was $79

Respawn Ninja RGB RN988 Kailh Red $39, was $79. Kailh Brown $49, was $79.

Doesn't look like these are hot-swappable, but may be worth a look.

  • Apparently these keyboards are terrible.

    • I think 'terrible' is going a bit far - so far I'd say it's meeting expectations. It's big and bulky (which I knew beforehand), has standard Cherry Brown keys (which are actually pretty good), the lighting and macros work (as long as you install the software from CloudNine). It's responsive, well-built, and comfortable. TBH I'm pretty happy, especially given the price point.

These are rebadged Cloud Nine C989s as far as I can tell, which sell for USD$170+, so I see it as a bargain.

I've only typed a couple of thousand words on mine so far - if my experience worsens, I'll come back here to post.

  • worst nunchuk ever

  • Not 10keyless.

    No deal!!!

On another note, 10keyless keyboards exclude 17 keys…

Thankfully math is confusing to keyboard makers who don't use numberpads :D

      tkl just means without numberpad.
most of the compact boards are TKL + remaps/alts for other keys, on a technicaliity they are still there in most cases

      • No deal!

        :D

Ha I'm the opposite, no deal without the numpad!!

Couldn't imagine having to enter spreadsheets with the number row keys.

    • Try using Altium without a full keyboard.

Got mine today. Seems alright so far, but I'll be typing on this more than I will be gaming.

For those who bought this deal - the keyboard is a rebadged Cloud Nine C989. I was able to flash mine with the firmware update from Cloud Nine here: https://c9ergo.com/pages/download-software and also install the software to change lights & macros etc.
