For those of you who don't need it with the cooler.

For those who prefer Retail/Boxed Version with Wraith Cooler - ~$37 more from the same eBay Store.

imo, not worth the $37 extra, unless you have no cooling solution.

    • ill be using the wraith prism cooler that came with my older cpu, i think this is better than the wraith stealth cooler. Can normally pick them up new for about $30-40 off people who went to Liquid Coolers.

    • Good to list options but I'd just put that money towards a proper air cooler.

The wraith is ok for a stocker but can't really compete

  • Is this the cheapest it's ever been?

Found out the hard way but warranty claims on tray and retail is different. In my opinion the extra money for retail is totally worth it for the warranty period.

    • I was under the impression CPUs are kinda invulnerable, and that it's pretty unlikely you're going to need to claim warranty on one.

    • Hey Cmaz, any chance you could explain what the difference is between the two versions?

      • Retail: Normal box, comes with a fan (most models), instructions etc. Normal warranty through AMD

Tray: Just the CPU in well, a tray. Usually not meant to be resold. Warranty.. you may have to go through the retailer.

        • Yeah I was more referring to his personal experience with warranty issues.

  • Ah man. I wanna buy one but I don't have eBay plus :(
And I used a trial before too spewing

i also used the trial but signed back up and got a $50 credit / voucher to use on something else (cant stack on top of other codes)

      • So you can't use the $50 credit with this deal or any other PLUSFL15 deal??

        • correct it won't let you stack the $50 credit as it comes in the form of a code.

  • Has a one year return to base warrenty with it.
    Seems okay?
I don't know if I should pay a bit extra and buy retail ver
