  This plus another laptop or wait for M1 iPad Pro? Or shall I just get those 2 in 1 laptops?
  I really want that miniLED display for photo editing and content consumption, but there is no way to calibrate its colour nor Apple is planning to have some MacOS running on it so I can do some heavier tasks.

    As someone who has switched from a desktop to an iPad almost exclusively for photo editing, get the M1 iPad Pro + Pencil. The device is killer for it. Grab Lightroom (or Darkroom) and Affinity Photo for anything heavier you might need to do.

    Only time I go back to my desktop is when I'm missing my larger monitors (my iPad is also the 11", so YMMV with this), and I'm still a sucker for a mouse. The Pencil is extremely handy though, and I wholly recommend picking one up with the iPad.

        I'm basing my experience on the absolutely fantastic, previous gen. 9/10 times the next generation usually performs equally or better.

  Just be aware that they may not have in stock and you need to await delivery. I have iPad ordered from the afterpay sale (End March) and still awaiting the order to be fulfilled.
