Rates uncompetitive and think better to drop your rates and beat competition than offer a high pressure 1 day offer and still be worse off!

  • best to just change over and back after a month and choose a no locked in contract

Site won't show me rates unless I give them contact details. Stuff that

    • @twig Whats your postcode? I'll give you a link to go straight to our rates 👍

      • Nah, I'd rather go straight to energymadeeasy.gov.au

Yup, closed the window at that time.

Put in fake details, rates suck - 25% more expensive than current provider at least.

OP; tell your marketing team to not force customer contact details at sign up, it’s always a bad sign.

Edit: $50 egiftcard would be raked back in higher rates in about 4-6 weeks, so if you’re not on monthly billing this could not come out in your favour.

Can you pls give example. They were competitive when I looked end of last year. Also the 30% CB from Amex was the cherry on top.

Rates are different for different distributors and at times even for different postcodes. So what you get is more than likely to be different to the next person. I checked these guys out and for me and my family's homes they are very uncompetitive, so no point, even with the $50 incentive.

      • Exactly what BigAntz said. For me it’s a difference of 30% on daily supply charges, and about 17-22% on peak/shoulder/off charges.

Doing a quick check, they are 22% off reference in my area, but my current provider is 37% off reference price. Total difference of around $300-$400 a year for me.
