Hello again.

At the risk of being called the NERF guy. Here is another good deal. I am keeping one of these myself as the distance of these NERF bullets are quite good, 20-25 metres.

Thanks,

MT.

Don't forget to register this as a firearm if you buy one in South Australia.

    • So is it a shotgun or rifle due to the pump action I'm a bit confused…..also can you slam fire these bad boys?

    • Wait you're serious?

      • No. Gel blasters have been classed as firearms due to the real steel look the all have.
Some have proposed putting gel ball internals in a nerf blaster to try to circumvent the new laws, which probably won’t end well if they’re caught.

Also $19 at target, assuming Amazon price matched: https://www.target.com.au/p/nerf-ultra-three-blaster/6304185…

I bought this for a kids birthday party. got it the other day. Didn't think it was a deal to post because target price etc was the same, thought they always this…

I have not got my kids any nerf guns (yet) but they desperately want. However I read the ultra aren't worth it. Can someone tell me a good value nerf gun to actually bite the bullet (pun intended) and buy into this ecosystem….

    • ecosystem…?

      • As ridiculous as it sounds there is actually a diverse set of nerf/nerf competitor ecosystems. The problem is Australia doesn't have many of them… All you tend to see is a few of the nerf blasters and then lower performing no name brands sold at Kmart and such.

Like others have said, the Ultra series isn't the one to choose since it doesn't actually provide any performance benefits over normal nerf blasters. The main reason they've done it is to stop other manufacturers from making nerf compatible darts and taking away their consumable sales.

    • Ultra range is not worth when looking at the larger range.
Most of hasbro claims of range have been debunked by multiple people in the nerf hobby across the world in all markets, only a couple have come close. Questionable quality control as well in the ultra range with multiple reports and complaints out of the box (that aren’t user error either).
Ultra range also uses a proprietary dart that cannot be used in any other blaster that are significantly more expensive and questionable quality with many ultra fly wheel blasters decapitating darts with only a couple uses, springers (like this one) not so much because of how it is fired so they last a little longer, maybe!
Rumours are already about that the ultra line of nerf blasters is doomed. They’re on clearance about 12 months after release in many locations, which says a lot.

    • If you can still find them the go to is a stryfe for a new player. It has the stock attachment point, barrel lug and tactical rails to put any accessories you want and uses magazines. They shoot darts by electric motors powering flywheels so modding it is pretty easy. Just need to buy some lithium ion batteries and you can amp up the performance by quite a bit.

      as a target?

  • I think they are matching Target's price if anyone is still interested.

  • i was really interested, but then i watched some youtube videos, and all the ultra nerf guns suck. the ultra darts are horrible and don't fly straight. what the point of having a nerf war when the enemy stand directly in front of you and all the darts are missing them since nothing flys straight. you have to use a different ultra dart for these, i guess so they stop losing money from everyone buying off brand darts that work the same.
