Before we get all up in arms about OzInStock vs OzCrypoKillingTheGPUMarket vs Ozwhatever have a read, and if you still think you can find a better deal then comment.

Final pricing approx $4,783 after Cashrewards and code LOVEKEANU

This is the first RTX 3090 deal of any kind that has been posted in a few months so it might appeal to some people and might help for those doing a google on RTX 3090 deals, it is as far as PCPartPicker is concerned, not a bad price either for someone who wants a top of the range GPU and 11th Gen i9 (although we all know it's just a binned 10700KF lol).

This is currently the best deal I can find anywhere for a pre-build RTX 3090 system of this calibre, Techfast offers a RTX 3090 system with lower specs in most departments and no OS either for the same price as this. Gigabyte is selling enclosed RTX 3090 for around $4,000. MSI's best is a RTX 3080 system which costs more and PC Case Gear offers a RTX 3080 system for $4,600, Centrecom can get you a RTX 3090 prebuild for $6,999, however consider all of these as much more upgradable in the future and probably easier to improve the cooling significantly.

So…

Who is this for: Someone who wants an RTX 3090 now and for the cheapest price in a decent system. Isn't interested in tinkering too much just has too much cash and wants 400FPS on their 1080p 240hz monitor (more on that below). Also for those people who either a) believe the GPU market isn't getting any better or b) believe the changes coming to GPUs regarding mining will do sweet FA to curb demand.

PCPartPicker pricing: (Note: I have estimated the cost of the case and watercooling unit as your basics, and selected the cheapest prices I can find for HDD/SSD/PSU etc, also chose the cheapest colours of the AW stuff as usually for some unknown reason only one colour is on sale at a time)

Intel Core i9-11900KF 3.5 GHz 8-Core Processor $810.00
Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID ML120L RGB V2 65.59 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler $75.00
ASRock B560M-ITX/ac Mini ITX LGA1200 Motherboard $150.00
Kingston HyperX Fury 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory $242.08
Toshiba P300 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $107.34
Crucial P1 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive $120.00
Corsair 100R ATX Mid Tower Case $59.00
SeaSonic FOCUS Plus Gold 1000 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply $279.00
Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit $149.00
AW510K $173.25
AW510M $69.35
AW510H $94.95
AW2720HF $584.34

Total $2,913 not including the elusive RTX 3090. Value that as you will but right now, $3,000 is probably ball park for something in the next week.

So my recommendation after all this time…

TL;DR

Buy this system, pay $5058.45 after LOVEKEANU, and then save a further (approximate) $275 from Cashrewards (based on Ex-GST) to get yourself a 11900KF/RTX3090 system for $4,783. Then sell the monitor when it arrives because if you game on a 1080p screen with an RTX 3090, you're wasting your money - buy the RTX 3080 and save. You can easily sell it for $400. I have seen them sell for $500 plus but keep in mind there will be a lot of them for sale with the recent Alienware PC deals on the market so bank on $400 for a quick buck. Keep the peripherals or sell them too for another few $$ and you are potentially down to $4,000 or very near for a 11900KF/RTX 3090 build.

Finally - Because you clearly have the cash, buy yourself an Alienware 55" 4K OLED to show all your friends how this system and the monitor improved your K/D.

Happy negging :)

    Jeez louise so expensive

    • +8

      You ain't wrong *frugaltom

    • -2

It is kind of interesting to see how much performance discrepancy there is between this and say a full build that costs only 10% of this aka $505.

Personally I think about 30% of this price is the sweet spot for performance to price ratio.

      • -1

        Tell Bugatti that.

Your car only goes twice as fast. So it should be twice as expensive.

        Flawless logic there.

        A $505 system can't game at 4k.

        • -1

True.. I guess the real question is do you really need 4k?

Or do you need $5000 of equipment to make grown men and school children cry?

          • @AlienC: I don't think I wanna answer that. But….

Probably easier to ask, why comment if this isn't remotely relevant?

You don't need to drink alcohol. People do. You don't need to watch TV, people do. You don't need to eat Chocolate. People do.

            • -2

@scuderiarmani: Oh I was just saying that this build is nice but a build 1/3 the price is also nice. That is all.

Someone might think that this is the only deal available to them right now but it isn't.

I have been there myself buying on impulse no time to research other alternatives.

I am trying to figure out now what your argument is or are you one of their salesmen.

              • -1

@AlienC: If you think the only PC you can buy is $5k, well quite frankly you deserve to waste your money.

You'd also be likely to have enough money to waste to begin with.

No one impulse buys $5k PC's.

You'd also be unlikely to be smart enough to know what this can do, that others can't.

                • -1

@scuderiarmani: You are obviously not listening to me which is fine I don't expect everyone to be on the same wavelength so I will end the conversation here.

I am not interested in further discussion.

Thank you for your time I hope you had a nice sunday.

                  Have a nice day.

Try to help others if you can and try not to be so snarky it looks bad for everyone involved.

You would be surprised what people do and don't do.

Work on your english sentence structuring it is all over the place anyways I have a headache reading this so bye.

                  Have a nice day.

                  • -2

@AlienC: OK. You go buy your $500 system or a $50,000 system. It really doesn't bother me.

Your original argument was that 30% of this price, is somehow fair. Despite the fact you have absolutely no idea what this can do, what performance it has and what performance a $500 system can do.

                    Because, reasons.

Yep. And I'm the one wasting peoples time here. I have helped many here, and not just in this deal.

Let alone, your idiotic, offensive and immature comment suggesting people buy things like this to make others cry. Seriously.

                    • -1

@scuderiarmani: how did we go from my comment to here lol

i am just saying that a cheaper pc is better value that is it and i was not even being completely serious just making a small comment

ok that is good go help other people that is the point of this community good on you i commend that you are a good ozbargain member thank you for your service

i think you are reading too far into what I was trying to say dude relax let us enjoy the last few hours of our weekend

                      • -1

@AlienC: Yeah ok. So you go here saying a cheaper pc is better value.

                        Good for you.

I guess we should all drive an old Corolla, it can do the job.

Unbelievable. I'll just block you. It'll save me alot of headaches.

                        • @scuderiarmani: I guess we should all drive an old Corolla, it can do the job.

Ye I'm looking for a pc but never would pay 5k some guy on marketplace sold his rtx 3090 card for $2000. just to point it out it is a purpose spelling i don't want anyone to think that im dumb.

    • Naar I was just making a pun of your name incase it meant something else haha

    • +11

If someone sold their 3090 for $2000 instead of the market value of $3000 then it's either fake, damaged or a unicorn.

      • +1

Market value is $4000, even 3080 market value is $2500

      • Unicorn means vendor was a moron right?

        • +1

          Means super rare chance/situation

    • +2

Some guy did this so this deal is dumb.

      Yeah, cool story.

2021 when video card costs $4400 outright but Alienware is "Cheaper" :) ./palmface

Glad I bought my 3090 after I gave up hope on finding a 3080 card to buy back in Feb. Got my 3090 for $3400 for Asus Strix OC in white… If I were to buy it now I'd be paying almost $5000 if I could find one.. .LOL….

    • +1

3090s aren't hard to find. Decent ones show up for about $3200 often. Umart and Scorptec restock Rog Strix for about $3600 every few days too.

      • $3699 for Strix 3090 OC and they don't come up every few days. The non OC versions are much harder to get. All of the 3090 prices have been slowly creeping up this year. As mentioned above it was $3400 in Feb, now it's $299 more. At PCCG Strix 3090 OC is $3799, TUG OC is $3599.

3090 is easier to get than 3080 but still need to wait if after some models as some models are easier to get than others.

        • $3699 for Strix 3090 OC and they don't come up every few days

Yes they do. Set up a notification for page changes and see for yourself. I saw them in stock at least twice this week.

          • @[Deactivated]: The reason I wrote that they don't come up 'every few days' is because I have had web monitoring with uptimerobot turned on for a month. Turned off the monitoring on Monday as I have no interest in keeping it on.

      • This deal is great, $47xx after all discounts, then we can sell off the extras. The price will be like $40xx. The components worths at least $1500, making the card about $25xx. Which is about the MSRP for a 3090 in Australia.

Basically, the price matches the recommended retail prices. You can try to rebuild using pcpartpicker tool.

    • i wish i did the same. But i held hope that id be able to get my hands on a 3080Ti for cheaper…now ill prob pay $3k+ for a Strix 3080Ti

    • +2

I’m with you. I’m not in the market for a new rig, still running my 2080ti strong but I use my PC everyday, I’m no going to sweat it over what the market might do in x amount of time.

I bought my 2080ti for $2,000 at release. I’ve had a few good years of enjoyment out of it, was I bummed when they released a 3070 for half the price? Not at all… because I got my money worth in my opinion. Now that 3070 cost as much as my original 2080ti well, there’s just no point. Buy it and enjoy it is what I say, just try and get a deal when you’re ready to pull the trigger.

    • del

  • Would be great if it was 10900 rather than 11900

    • +1

Why do you say that me not knowing much basically thinks the higher the number the better

      • +2

As I said in the post the 11900k is only 8C/16T vs 10900K 10C/20T.

Basically the 11900K is probably more on par with a high end 10700K.

In single core performance like gaming, it’s negligible difference but in multicore tasking it might be slower than previous generations for things that utilise all the power of the CPU.

      • +1

        10900 (10th generation) has 10 cores
        11900 (11th generation) has only 8 cores

They both have the i9 branding whilst not being close in performance.

The i7 chips 10700 and 11700 are also 8 core chips.

The 11th gen intel 11900 is effectively an i7 branded as an i9

If I was in the market for a 3090, I would get this.

3090 is about $3500 from retailers and not even in stock…

    • +1

Actually, given the RRP on this is $8,599 and regardless of how many people actually pay RRP, it is originally sold at that price.

Thus… $8,599 down to $4,783 is by definition, a bargain. (Unless you can post a similar spec 11900KF/RTX3090 deal and I’ll be proved wrong)

    • +2

Because it’s a bargain for some people? Not a difficult concept.

  • So what's the resale value of the RTX 3090? And will it go down in value before this pc is delivered? Just wondering if it's worth buying this and selling the GPU? I don't really game and just need something to work from home lol.

    • +1

See that’s where I’d say this isn’t for you. Because as I said this is aimed at someone who actually wants the 3090 to use, or wants one in the future and is worried they aren’t getting any cheaper.

There are arguments for both sides of prices going down or up, I’m on the fence.

    • +1

Not to mention F processor has no integrated GPU so it won’t work without a card but theoretically you could get $2500-3000 for the GPU but you’d need like a GTX 1030 or something to put in and you risk any warranty issues down the track if you had to return the unit.

    • +2

I would do some reading about this 3090 performance. You may not get the same money as you could get for non Dell one. It's also a 2 fan card so the temps and throttling may be a problem.

      • +1

I did a quick google and compared to Dell RTX 3080 systems there was an as expected increase in performance for the RTX 3090.

Also keep in mind FE is also only a two fan design. The reason Dell uses a two fan is their RTX 3090 is actually made smaller to fit in the case therefore a small form factor RTX 3090 might actually appeal to someone more.

  • +3

Tbf you don't have to post deals to have an opinion on this site

    • Correct and I haven’t negged amerh, but tbf he hasn’t provided any alternative RTX 3090 system for the price.

      • -5

Because there aren’t any mate not a hard concept to understand!

        • +3

Therefore it’s currently a bargain. Also not a difficult concept.

          • -1

@Hybroid: Ok so In your eyes a 3090 with $5000 for example is a bargain if it was the lowest price even though it’s way above msrp! Mate I swear no offence to anyone on this forum but people need to stop wasting everyone’s time.

            • +5

@amerh: MSRP is a myth and it has been for months. People that use that argument are wasting everyone’s time.

              • @Pelicannn: MSRP is pure marketing BS.

Always has been, always will be.

                Google Price Anchoring.

If any good comes out of these stupid GPU prices, I hope it's that more people realise this.

The price of something is what you can ACTUALLY buy it for.

A bargain is when that price is newly/temporarily lower than usual by a significant amount.

                That's it.

Everything else, from RRP to MSRP to fairy price to happy dream price, is imaginary.

            • +5

@amerh: Yes. If I wanted a 3090 right now and everyone’s selling it for $10,000 but someone posts one available now for $5,000, that’s a bargain.

If you can find it cheaper right now then post it. If you can’t and not interested then stop wasting your own time.

            • +1

@amerh: Absolutely… If something is at $5000 MARKET PRICE (MSRP means nothing if a product hasnt existed at that price for nearly 6 months) then under $5000 for that part with an entire computer is a bargain.

Heres the definition of a bargain:
"a thing bought or offered for sale much more cheaply than is usual or expected."

Usual is $5000, this is cheaper. Its not rocket science. You people who are unable to see this need to stop wasting everyones time.
              Thankyou

        • +1

You’re kinda just backtracking on your own argument there.

Right now it’s a deal, not to everyone. It’s why I clearly wrote read before commenting. There are people out there who are happy to pay $4,700 for a 3090. Even better if they sell the monitor and peripherals and walk away closer to $4,000. It ain’t me, I’m sitting on my 2080ti and I will for a few more years but if I was in the market for a new computer I’d be seriously considering this given the lack of alternatives.

  • +11

    Ships in 30–38 business days

It is not available now, 38 business days can be translated to around 2 months in normal days

You are banking on cashback which is not gonna be available for 3 months

You are banking on reselling peripherals which is a hassle

You are quoting retail pricing in your pcpp, a very few minority is gonna pay $800 for 11900kf or $150 for windows 10 Home

Lastly, you are buying a 3090 for gaming, obviously money is secondary. If money is secondary, then time is more important. Thus, go and buy from somewhere that can have it ready for you in a week,

    • Fair comment but fwiw dell shipping estimates are pretty exaggerated in my fairly limited experience (5 orders). I’ve had one that said 12-24 shipped to me in two days, I’ve also never had an order not beat estimates.

From previous comments on posts dell is usually pretty good with beating their shopping estimates in most instances.

Also I think right now, everyone is paying retail for an 11900K because they are OOS everywhere.

      • +1

A quick google search shows that they are in stock at at least 5 stores

And sure dell could beat their estimate but it's still an uncertainty of when you will get it. Back to the last point

        • Yes and in those 5 stores are you not paying $800+ (RRP)

          • +1

@Pelicannn: I'm not buying lol, that's why it's still in stock

            • @ln28909: Hahah I suppose!

              • +1

@Pelicannn: You're seeing low stock for 11900k not because there's a high demand for it, it's due to low yield as the chip is just a highly binned 11700, 5.3ghz turbo boost without manual overclock is a high benchmark

    • a very few minority is gonna pay $800 for 11900kf or $150 for windows 10 Home

What are options are there apart from buying a counterfeit product key for a fraction of the price?

  • +2

Don't forget to add the code "bulk" when ordering >5 systems

    • Wouldn’t be a bad deal if people in the same city organised a bulk buy. It’s an extra $300+ discount.

  • Ooooh mama.

Watch Gamers Nexus latest YT video before you buy a prebuilt gaming PC!

  • Too many Alienware deals recently

    • heh they're not really a deal, only paying for a badge.. like packard bell

      • +1

Can you find a similar spec’d build for the same price without the badge?

      • Normally you would - this is a definite bargain in the current market.

  • At that price I'll take 2!!

  • -1

I got downvoted for saying it in the other Alienware deal, but if you're paying this much money, it shouldn't include spinning rust and the Home edition of Windows.

Like the other post, this is just a standard high-end PC, but with a GPU worth twice what the rest of the computer is, and the GPU at that price makes the whole computer overpriced. You'd be much better off with anything that has a cheaper GPU like a 3070.

    • +3

I’ve had a HDD in every computer I’ve owned or built in the past 15 years, one HDD is still going strong after nearly 10 of those years. The only rust it’s ever had is a game on Steam.

Again you didn’t read the comment. It is not overpriced for anyone who wants a 3090, or doesn’t think the prices will come down because that’s what the market is. I can agree with you that it’s ridiculous for a GPU to be worth that much, but even still as I’ve pointed out, no other examples out there come close to the money for specs unless you know of one?

      • -2

Let me put it this way - if you've got that kind of money to blow on a GPU, you probably want 2 of them. You don't buy a Barina and put $50k worth of extras on it.

Also, just because your HDD has lasted 10 years doesn't mean they all do. I had one die a few months ago after only 4 years. Plus it was sloooow, so I replaced it with an SSD… And my PC still doesn't cost even half of what this one does, and it can do 99% of what this does.

        • Ok so remove it, even without a $100 HDD you still are yet to show me a similar 11900KF/RTX3090 deal for a similar price point.

        • 99% of what it can do? 4K gaming with 99% of the frame rate. You must be running the RTX3049.2

          • @Pelicannn: Yes, 99% of frame rate. If your monitor is 144Hz, the majority of games can hit that FPS with a much cheaper GPU.

        • +1

Craziest comment I have ever seen, you hate HDD because two failed. Most HDD will last forever.
billions of HDD have been made https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Market_share_of_personal_compu…

          • @nephilim: No I hate HDDs because they're slow. Like 200 times slower than anything else inside a computer.

    • This is a cheap price rn, it's just that all the work that OP mentions are not worth the time and effort if you're buying a 3090 pc

    • Link a better 3090 system for cheaper.

Till you do, your neg is invalid.

The HDD comment is irrelevant. It's extra value. Who cares.

    • +2

it shouldn't include spinning rust and the Home edition of Windows.

Considering the majority of people buying this machine would use in a home environment and see zero benefit in the Pro edition of Windows, what's the problem?

  • Too much hate here. The deal itself is ok

I guess it’s mostly just opinions which people are entitled to. The only problem I have is none of the negative commenters have actually offered any alternative. As I said in the post, this is the first RTX 3090 deal posted in months.

Absolutely. You need to provide better alternatives.

We all know the 3090 itself isn't great value, but for certain people it is. And frankly it's no one's business to suggest it's not, just because it doesn't suit their needs.

Most of the negs are on how overpriced 3090 is and how it's only 10% faster than 3080 in games. People forget that 3090 is more for content creators and computations (physics, deep learning etc.) than gaming. People should be saying how cheap 3090 is relative to Quadro's and Tesla's.

        • Yeah, I learnt my lesson before with this. I forgot the non gaming benefits. It's absolutely a factor.

Entitlement is rampant on this site, even if it were half of the posted deal price, you'd still get some people commenting about the price being too high.

Alternative - turn down your eye candy one notch and save $1000.

You can't dictate deals just because you wouldn't buy it.

Also, I'd love to see the alternative system you're suggesting as a contribution to the site.
