    No it won't. For 4K, USB-C 3.1 gen 2 has to run in Alt-Mode (bandwidth requirement). So, if your laptop/PC doesn't support USB-C/Alt-mode (i.e. not wired to integrated GPU or external GPU's display port), then this won't work.

    Get decent HDMI cable. It is likely this dongle doesn't support HDR so it doesn't necessary require full HDMI 2.0 bandwidth. However, it is still best to get a proper cable (otherwise you might get flickers and blackouts).

    If GSMArena.com data is correct, USB-C/USB 2.0 port, you can forget about getting this to work with that phone.
