      Happened once to me few months back. I’m pretty sure it’s added to your account but not reflecting. I went ahead and ordered the food. When you’re at the payment screen make sure the ‘gift card balance’ toggle switch is turned on.

          For me (at Chemist Warehouse), it often doesn't track when using CC, so I use PayPal and it started tracking

      Deals been up for more than 3 hours. Always check OzBargain before making any purchases is my motto, and always wait until at least 2pm as most bonus cashbacks are posted/go live after this time.

    I made typo error while providing an email address for purchasing gift card via GC portal. Typo was done within writing @hotmail.com so email shouldn't have gone to anyone. It must have bounced back. I got tax invoice and tracking email from CB but not the gift card (as expected). Does anyone know how to fix this ?

      Since they are part of the Coles-Myers group.

      Used to be, quite a while ago. Then they were both under the Wesfarmers umbrella. Now the Coles Group has split off from Wesfarmers and I believe Myers has gone it's separate way.

      The Coles Myer giftcards still remain, though, at least for now.

    tightarse, having problem with linked card. Entered the security code incorrectly the first time purchase didn't go through and gave me the option to enter the security code to proceed. It didn't work so I went and deleted the linked card to add again. Then there's no new $1 transaction so tried the same code from earlier and it said it was wrong. I waited and checked my account still no new pending $1 transaction and tried the code from the previous transaction agian in case it was wrong. That didn't work. So added a new card, and checked that I have the correct security code and went to make the purchase only for it to come back and complain that the security code is incorrect.

    This is through your webpage. I can't find the giftcard store on your app. I went through the link in the OP.

    — EDIT: Looks like there us a pending $30 charge from Digital Rewards even though everytime I tried to purcahse this it didn't go through. I found out after I deleted my card on the app which was actually an older expired card. It warned my that I wouldn't get my casshback for any purchases made within the last 15 days if I removed my card. I have since added my card back it didn't want any verification (on the app).. So I'm at aloss as what i need to do next.

        Thanks. When we unlink a card in the app settings and lose 15 days of cashback… I presume it's only in store purchases to that card?

        Because in store use was the only reason to link a card to begin with.

        So I unlinked assuming I'd lose nothing (haven't used it in store within 15 days, but have online).

        I think the unlink page needs clarification on this "will lose cashback on in in store purchases using this card within the last 15 days"(?) instead of "will lose cashback within the last 15 days"

          I think there's confusion here with nerd1's question, as his definitely refers to our GC portal whereas your question is around card-linked offers in-store. You don't lose 15 days of cashback. In simple terms, provided your card is linked prior and remains linked during in-store purchase, you'll be fine. Hope this helps.

            @tightarse: Hey mate, actually I think his question (at least the bit about deleting cards & 15 days) doesn't relate to the GC portal.

            I think the only place where you get a warning about 15 days is when deleting a card in the app settings.

            And he has simply done what I have - tried to change the credit card that true rewards uses by deleting his (in his case, expired) card from the app settings.

    I have had nothing but problems with GC purchases from Choice, the confirmation requirement is crap and only becomes a requirement after you have submitted your card number and they have subtracted $1 from your account.. My Lattitude CC only states $1 purchase,no verification number.2nd time they got me,wont use again.

      I also had this problem with Latitude 28 Degrees card transaction history showing the pending $1 as 'purchase' without the 4 digit verification code, and had to use a different card. Not sure how to ever get around this with a Latitude credit card. The good news is that the $1 will pend out of your account, and not actually cost you $1.

    You gotta get a deferred authorisation method up and running for credit cards in your gift card portal.

    Some cards don't report the transaction (just show pending) so don't give the authorisation code for several days.. So I can't link them. Eg: 28degrees.

    Also I got confused trying to change the credit card it would bill in the GC store over to my 28degrees. So I unlinked my old card in the app settings page (not the GC portal page). Might have lost cashbacks :/ imho the GC portal should not default to any card but instead to a card select screen

    Is there any way to tell if it has worked? I bought from Aliexpress but for some reason it's showed the date as yesterday? Also the price has come through in USD and is below 30 USD but was above 30 AUD…

      All good. AliExpress reports in Pacific Time so you've got nothing to be concerned about provided you activated prior to clicking to AliExpress. As for USD, yup - all good on that front too :)

          I honestly can't say with any surety. I'd hate to see it track and then have Kogan decline the transaction. One member here stated it worked for them for partial payment, but that's no guarantee it will work for others. Sorry I can't offer more than this, but my gut says Kogan will not pay cashback especially on the full amount using credit as payment.

          To be sure you get your cashback and bonus, why not pay the normal way and save your credit for a transaction at another time, that way you know there won't be issues. All the best.

              @USER DC: You can understand why stores may not give cashback on purchases paid with credit right? In all likelyhood, the orignal purchase may have attracted cashback as well so they'd be paying commission more than once. Not saying this applies to you, but it's a scenario they'd want to protect themselves from, as Amazon does.

                  I have bought many things from Kogan, all using credits, Kogan pts. Over the many years, all Velocity/Qantas rebate pts approved, a few Cashrewards approved (due to not always available for existing customers).

                  Giftcard purchases excluded for obvious reasons coz you get cashback when redeem them. No double dipping.

                  Catch is the one strict with giftcard/credits issues from the beginning, not Kogan.
