Combine the "$10 bonus cashback on $30 spend" offer with the standard $21 cashback on the $30 30GB mobile plan for a total of $31 cashback. Expired

You can stack the bonus $10 with any of the plans currently over $30. Only other one that allows you to make a profit is the $40 50GB data only plan ($10 bonus + $35 regular = $45 total cashback, $5 in the black).

The $50 80GB mobile plan deserves an honourable mention as well ($10 bonus + $35 regular = $45 total cashback, $5 net cost).

Amaysim ship new numbers preactivated. If you are porting, they will let you choose when to activate.

Amaysim uses the Optus network and (as of November 2020) is now owned by Optus as well.

Their billing period is 28 days, not the calendar month (evaluates to 13 renewals instead of 12 per year).

Remember to disable autorenewal in the Amaysim account portal. It's worth doing this immediately. You might get lucky and receive an extra renewal for free.

If you want to keep a phone number just for receiving phone calls and texts (or use WiFi a lot and can make use of internet based calling/texting), deals like this are ideal. Amaysim keep your number activated past plan expiry for a year. Most other prepaid telcos cancel the number after only a few weeks or months.

  • Cashback is eligible for new and existing amaysim customers purchasing a new SIM. Limited to one cashback per month per Cashrewards account.
  • Cashback is eligible only on a new service (SIM) which is activated within 30 days of purchase. Cashback is ineligible on any recharges to existing services.

    You would need to cancel the promo applied currently to achieve this.

      You're looking at the $40 mobile plan that's been discounted to $15, not the data only plan.

      You're looking at the mobile plan (the one with unlimited calls + texts + data).

    Aaah bummer, was hoping to use this to port from Kogan to Amasim and Kogan again, but not sure if Kogan's going to treat me as a new customer in 27-28 days or I'd need 30 days clear.

      you can change to pay as you go with Amaysim, your number won't be expiry in a year, or use new email register with kogan again won't be a problem

      As above you can change to Pay As You Go. Or last time I bought a SIM in a similar deal (normal cashback + bonus cashback), amaysim added $10 of bonus credit upon activation. There is actually a 7day 10GB plan for $10 that you can change to (only available for existing users), thus adding up to more than 30 days.

    Good deal, thwarted by the Amaysim website, sigh.

    I'm already logged in to my account, but the checkout process wants me to log in and refuses to recognise my password, even though I've already logged in with it. Even clicking the "reset your password" link just takes me to my account dashboard.

    Couldn't be bothered stuffing around with it. Too late anyway.

        Just cancelled my order. Amaysim said that the system was acting a little strange last night and caused login and payment errors.
