  Only one specific host port is powered. So you can't power 2 laptops with this switch. I have mine setup as 1 PC and 1 Laptop, works great.
  
  The latest firmware upgrade has made it a solid KVM switch… I no longer get sporadic USB dropouts (particularly with mouse movement). It's really good now and the Bezel X sync/crossover software is flawless.

  you might need a HDMI switch to change inputs. But i'm unsure on this model.

  it's not bi-directional, I think you have to hit a physical remote button to switch from one device to the other.
