This smart guitar amp has been around for at least 2 years so well proven.
It was posted in 2019 on OB but people were hesitant as it was new.
Currently 10% off + free gig bag + another USD 10 off with code, makes it a decent deal.

I know a guy who bought one recently. He loves it. Reckons you need to spend hours and hours to really get to know and use all it's features. Very comprehensive product

Not a bad price. About the best it’s been with the bag. Should ship from Oz too.

10% off is a okay deal, not decent deals unless 30 - 40% off here.

    • Better than 3%

  • @Yarren24 …Plus free bag and USD $10 off code. P.S. There’s plenty of 10% or less off deals here, like the one you posted 😜

  • I got one of the early releases without a gig bag. Wish I had one to protect it from dust when not using it.

I have this. Recently bought to replace my ancient $1000 digitech gnx 3000 pedal. This thing is on another level. Didn't think digital could sound so good for so cheap. The tubes taste like tubesberries!

One nice feature is playing along to a song via YouTube + having soundcloud tones linked to the song via the app. It's wild. So authentic.

    I bought one yesterday!
If you use the code SAVE5 instead of the posted $10 coupon it takes the price down to $256 USD with the current promotion.

    • Great, that's another 4 bucks saving ~AUD $330.

  • I have this and it is a great little practice amp, they also recently released a limited white version which i prefer. This can be used as a bluetooth speaker if you're not using it as an amplifier.

The white version looks very neat - I was picking one up for my son and I asked him which he preferred. He said “black like a rock star, not white like a hipster.”
If it was for me, I would have happily paid the extra $20 for the white.

    • I like the white version as well but the code doesn't seem to work with that

  • bought one when they had a price error on Amazon, meant to be USD249 but put as AUD249, they cancelled my order first then honoured it by offering me same price. It's a great little practicing amp, love it

    • I should’ve bought then! Regrets. I’ve heard mixed reviews. Hoping for deeper discount in good time.

  • I have tried one of my mates and compared to my THR10X, it sounded very tiny and boxy. It has tons of features that are useful but they should've put better speakers.

  • This may sound like a silly qn but I've starting playing the electric guitar (rock/metal) and I'm currently using an old VOX DA5 - is this amp much better? Upgraded guitar to the half priced LTD SN-200 from the recent 50% jb-hi fi music deal and thinking this Spark amp might be a good match?

    • +1

I think it’s well worth it. This is more than just an amp. With their included app and smart features it actually helps beginners (and others) to enjoy learning more. Have a look at their reviews to see if the features appeal to you. Also was going to spend money on reverb pedals but don’t think I’d need them with this amp, so some saving there as well.

    • +1

I would say yes, this is 40 watts compared to VOX DA5 5 watts. No need for pedals as this is a modeler amp that has built-in effects.

Thanks for the feedback guys, got one.! Thanks op.

I received it within 2 days of ordering, although my order said it is due to be shipped next week. It looks even better in real life, befitting their claim "Designed in California".

Very quick delivery, ordered Tuesday and got mine today. Amp sounds much better than I expected as well.
