This is a fantastic offer for any customer needing multiple services or even any existing Optus customer wanting to add a new service

The details:
Get 25% discount off monthly plan fees when adding an additional Optus postpaid mobile service. Up to 5 new services are eligible for 25% off every month, when combined with new or existing postpaid mobile, wireless or home broadband services on the one account.

The improvements:
This discount has been improved as it used to be only a 30 day window within adding a new service or upgrading an existing service that you could be eligible for the 25% off the new mobile plan. Now there’s no 30 day limit & no need to add or upgrade a plan to get the discount on the new plan if you’ve got existing services with Optus.

If only I didn't have to climb 5 metres up a tree to make a call with optus, would jump on it! As it stands, have the netgear nighthawk in a tree; not doing too badly, but still struggles.

    • Not sure where you live but I am in Sydney and I find Optus reception very good up and down the coast.

      • About 6km away from Wisemans Ferry. Telstra is fine, can get reception on it without large antennas; Optus not so unfortunately.

  • Says for selected plans only

  • And multi SOS with 25% disconnection

They changed the cheapest plan to $45 with 20Gb data now.

  • Was 50% when I added a few services about 5 months ago, and apparently that was a recurring deal

The cheapest plan is now $45 per month. Getting to be a major rip off!

  • Discount apply to BYO data sim?

  • i'm paying $25 for 17GB per month, i would change to Telstra if i can get a similar price.

Is that with Optus? How are you getting that?

      • I pay $35 p/m with 105gb data with-in my Optus unlimited calls/sms plan plus other extras👍😁

(profanity) Optus, overnight, they changed everything, from one of the best-valued plan to one of the worst
a few weeks ago, they had $65 optus one plan with 500gb 5g data, unlimited calls, 10gb international roaming and a dedicated service team (granted it's a temporary discounted plan, but it's been on offer for a long time, at least since last year)
now for $65 you only get 200gb, also 0 international roaming (they got rid of free international roaming data on all their plans), WTF, OPTUS!

    • I had long been saying their handset is rip off and now their plans are also rip off.

Seriously I would love to hear someone who is making these decision in optus. On what ground do they think these change is good?

    • Totally agree WTF!

  • Amaysim is the way to go or any MVNO really

  • I will neg this because the additional of 25% for 1st service added was always available for existing post-paid account and in fact I was even told for the second service it would be 50%, was considering moving 2 across from Boost to one of my existing Optus Account but now Not a chance in the world.
Price jacking and removal of International Data Roaming is just plain stupid of Optus considering the Covid Travel restrictions No one could have used it anyway just makes Optus looks lame and Greedy.

I managed to get 50% off when I called to get a new phone.
I'm using a business account, sales person told me only via phone sales.

  • Optus have become a rip off. No longer competitive. Prices up, discount down.
