Amazon US is offering ST8000VN004 delivered to AU for approx $285 AUD delivered. Not a bad price from Mwave to practically match Amazon.

That's what I was thinking too, that carrot of free metro delivery for SYD/MEL/CBR is a bonus too. Was thinking of starting up another NAS as these are almost 1/2 the price of the Red Pro 8TB I bought recently, That'd be a 32TB RAID5 array over 5 disks for $1445 (Plus NAS enclosure).

Amazon US and UK are never a deal on hard disks, given their horrendous packaging. Returned my unit without even bothering to test as it was literally that bad.

agree with Amazon UK one; ordered a smartthings device and received a bike accessories instead O_o
Unless their AI is so good to know I'm overweight and need a bike exercise :D

        (i) Bought WD 4TB Purple from Amazon Au. Bad packaging. Tried to use it, DOA.
(ii) Returned for replacement. Same thing.
(iii) Returned for refund. Bought from local MSY for slightly more. Working 24/7 in old Dell PC as Blue Iris NVR.

I hear this a lot but I’ve never had an issue with Amazon US.

Good price. Just bought two 12 TBs for $479*2.

      How? Where?

Umart ST12000VN0008 but currently OOS ETA: 20/06/2021.
