    Boring, repeating deal.

  • Expect Win10pro

For an extra $270 you have the option of the new Cherry mechanical keys designed in partnerhship with Dell. From what I've heard these are supposed to be the closest you can get to having an actual mechanical keyboard on a laptop. Might not be worth it for most people but worth mentioning as they're brand new and I doubt many people know about them.

LTT did a good video on them a day or two ago.

Better production and to-the-point than LTT.

Yeh LTT faffs around too much with lame jokes. I still watch his rubbish, but Dave2D is hard to beat.

    • There are laptops with full desktop mechanical keyboards in them, but I wouldn’t exactly call them a laptop, more like a portable desktop.

For those unaware, Alienware are releasing a new 17in X-Series laptop soon. Thinner, quad fans, 30 series GPUs

    • Yap yap! which also supposedly could beat the new AMD CPUs

    • For a premium brand that are good with computers, they suck at making promotional videos.

Thanks for sharing! Would be good if they provided some solid information on dates and pricing.

    • For the low price of $8000 for the GTX 1660 model!

For an RRP of nearly $6000, would it have killed them to use more than a FHD screen?
127 PPI seems a little on the low side considering price tag..

    • This is 360hz though which demands a huge premium. Most people won't want this but 360hz, Cherry keys, 3080, this thing is designed for fps gamers who want a laptop.

  • Isn't a 3080 in a laptop useless. I would expect it to do much better than a 3070 if any.

I bought the M15 R3 in Nov and the 1st one stopped working (motherboard blew) and now the second one a month later is having display issues (pink pixelated lines running through it on and off).

I'm not sure if this is indicative of Alien wear but I was very hopeful about them and now not sure.

I know this is n=1 but thought it might help someone.

(Laptop feels good and is nice to use, Heats up like a mofo though, but its small… The M17 is probs better re cooling though)

    Good luck guys <3
