  • Not one photo with the lid open on either ad

    • So ?

      Go look in person or
Look at the weber site directly if you want to see whats inside

Imho you are better paying the extra for the high lid unit with the thermometer

      • Depends what you're BBQing, for those who only cook steaks, snags and shish kebabs, the 3100 series no probs.

Rotisserie chicken and lamb on the other hand….

Disagree. I've got the rotisserie attachment for this exact BBQ and it works a treat. I wouldn't trust a lid thermometer - better off using some form of wireless one built for purpose (such as what appears to be OzBargain's favourite - Inkbird).

I've recently discovered using a kettle with low and slow, but this is a great BBQ.

          • @SurprisedEwe: I've got the 3100, but don't have the rotisserie attachment. A friend has the 3200.

So far, there is nothing that he can roast that I can't. The biggest lamb/beef/whatever roasts we can find have all been completely fine in my 3100. Rotisserie may be different, but I have a hunch it would still be okay.

And agreed about the thermometer. Plus it's super easy to add one to the 3100 lid for like $20 if you so please.

Just thought it was weird. You don't see a car being advertised without the interior shots

  • Anyone know of a great price on the most expensive Q please. This one

    • for this one you have to go to a dealer and not the likes on Good guys. If you want the thermometer in the lid only a dealer such as BBQ plus can sell these.

  • Good price and great BBQ. Just bought one days ago on sale at BCF, it was $689 though paying with Gift Cards brought down to a similar price. Considered getting the one with the temp gauge from the weber store, but having used a baby q for several years I never found the lack of a gauge to be an issue so IMO not worth the extra $$'s. So far I've done bacon and eggs, sausages, roast pork belly and Chinese BBQ Pork and all turned out great.

  • Got one thanks!
