      One night my housemate did (vodka). By all accounts it was awful and it ended up occupying space in the fridge for a few months until we did a clean out. Nobody had touched it since that night

    I have a sodastream but most of the flavours are not brilliant for anything but making softdrink to mix with alcohol. for example
    Cola by itself tastes rubbish, but with southern, JW or Bundie it's fine and a cheap alternative to coke
    Lemonade is actually fine to drink but once you have had 1 glass, your over it and it just sits in your fridge for ages.

    Can you still get Schweppes Syrup? I think the current Sodastream branded ones are made in Israel. (Why?)

    You can get Coke syrup in the US/ebay.

    I love Soda Stream, its made in Israel and is one of the best Jewish inventions out there. I dont like that they contribute % to the Settlers in the westbank but I as a product 100% its the best.

    Tip, use half the concentrate to get more fiz for your buck. Also Bigw has best price for cylinders.
