Yep that too. They'll set it on high, throw canola oil in after its hot, then use a metal spatula to sear a steak.
So you only use these on low flame/heat? ours lasted 6 years, i get blammed for destroying it all the time. I add oil, crank the heat, sear the food, but never so hot that the oil smokes. Always use plastic utensils. just figured these things have a limited life. Im not touching the new one, so that in 6yrs from now I can say "I told you so" haha
Likely all to be out of the China factory at this price. No lifetime warranty either. You get what you pay for…
The real ones from Circulon have an RRP of $339.95 and you can get them for $234.95
The non-stick coating is very unlikely to last decades.
