      No. According to the manual "Your M185 mouse ships with the receiver as shown below (image of standard plug thing). While this receiver is not Unifying, you can connect your mouse with any Unifying USB receiver"

          @lachlan1: Fair enough. You never know - it's always possible that they ship some of them with the unifying receiver as frankly it probably would not cost them much more to include that rather than the older original thing, but I wouldn't count on it. It's more likely that "Phil" got confused by the fact on the bottom of the mouse it has the unifying symbol - but that just means that the mouse supports the unifying receiver, rather than it coming with one.

  I have a similar logitech mouse, and the battery case position on the bottom is awful. It easily slides off. Might as well use tape for it.

  My m185 worked for 10 years until it became luggish last year.
  Using m235 now and wish lt lasts as long as m185.
