To be fair they stock plenty of non-fast fashion brands.
But yeah the whole popularity of H&M/Zara and Uniqlo to a lesser extent (they're making changes slowly) is purely based on selling essentially slave labour polyester/nylon/cotton rip-off designs as quickly as possible and damn the consequences.
Its funny because everyone bitches about reputable brands costing more, but I've had no issues claiming returns or warranty with most outdoor gear brands (where applicable).
Good luck ever claiming anything from a fast-fashion brand.
How do you know the difference between a "fast fashion" "slave labour" shop and everything else, which is probably exactly the same?
Fashion is a fast as you want it to be, Uniqlo don't put ink security tags on their clothes on a timer….
had no problems returning a hoodie to Uniqlo for change-of-mind. not that it was crap — i'd bought 2, "just in case" when i only needed one, which i wear nearly every day for cycling.
i don't get the appeal of h&m or zara though. i walked through an h&m store and was so underwhelmed by their clothing range. t-shirts were so thin and came in very limited colour range. wasn't cheap either considering the quality of the fabric
Yup the one thing I've ever bought from a H&M was a mid-layer hoody. It started to get holes in it within a few months, never went back to H&M ever again.
Uniqlo wouldn't be fast fashion.

I got my last pair of Chucks from them, which have lasted years as they always do. Sometimes they just have good things at good prices, Captain Definitely Not Fun At Parties.

Any other physical retail store. The selection and prices are a joke on the iconic. The products are inflated and cost more than retail. I just spent 4 hours shopping and each site I visited is better than 30% off iconic.
