  Well that's a vastly different Toowong student accommodation experience to the one from the early 2000s. $120 would get you a room in an old Queenslander share house with 3-4 mates.

  I wonder how empty these places are with the current lack of international students? These student ghetto towers did pop up everywhere in the last few years.

  This probably looked like a sure thing for investors precovid. High occupancy, guaranteed cashflow, no dealing with the RTA.. from what I've heard these places are bleeding money left right and centre since the internationals all left.
