  • Thoughts on these?

  • @spcoker
I have the TrueAir2, and Im amazed at the quality, battery life, and fit. love them.

But I get cut-outs in audio whenever I adjust them in my ears, or try to use the touch controls.

Do you think I have a faulty pair, for the audio signal to be able to be cut-out so easily?

It will also cutout if I put my phone in the 'wrong pocket'.

Should I be lodging warranty? And if so, how?

    • i had a warranty issue with both my true free 2 and true engine 3.
Both times took a lot of spamming the watsapp support chat line to get results.

      • Luckily I bought through amazon; so if they dont reply, ill get a refund anyway, and just buy a 2nd pair.

        • If it’s out of the return window there’s no clear way to get a refund through amazon I found.

    • Many are having the same problem. Its with the touch controls. Whenever you are in call, a single touch will disconnect it. Its by design

  • I returned the trueair2 due to having a weird fit and constantly having to adjust them, wonder if these in-ear sealed styles will work better.

    • IMO anything without the fin, like the true free will sit weirdly. My pet hate on the true engine

    • Nobody can comment confidently. Ears are all so different (you can use them instead of fingerprints!)

Trueair2 is the most perfect fit ive ever had in earphones.

I added some thin foam covers (like on 80's earbuds) to add some friction to stop them shifting while jogging; but even that takes some time to occur.

      • im gonna have a crack with the T2's

      • Can you pls let me know where to get the foam covers?

        • I use ebay.
Literally just any little foam tips that fit on oldschool discman style earbuds.

if you have the TrueAir2, there are reports of Apple covers fitting too; however consider if they'll fit in the case.

  • huh, get these or the jabra elite 65t on sale? I don't have prime but I suppose I can use another email for another trial..

Soundpeats trueair2 has a lot of votes here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/608499
65t elite isn't in the <80$ or <$200 threads at all.

EDIT: just realised the trueair2 isn't on sale

  • Found these to be a bit thick so not so comfortable long term. YEMV

    Paid $29.49

  • I have 2 sets of the SE variant and one set of the t2 with ANC from SoundPEATS - i can confirm that i am very happy with them - i cannot vouch for this variety but going on their consistency i would assume for that price they will be great.

    • how do you find the t2?

      • Sorry Late reply - busy at work and that where i usually log in. good sound - anc has 3 modes - for the price it does a job you would expect - in on more while wipper snippering as it was not a constant noise (intermittent) it kicked in and out - so i had to turn it to normal mode or pass through - a mower grinder etc it would preform better. but for the price i cant fault it. again apologies.

        • No need to apologise all good. I got a pair and very happy with them as well.

  • Lost one of the earbuds on my 3SE which I've uesd for about a year… decent sound happy to buy again. But they're not on sale here. Wondering if the Sonic is a good replacement.

  • @spcoker i'm not seeing the discount. Still 10% or 15% depending on model.

    Sonic - $51.99

    T2 - $62.99
