Consider the poco X3 pro of you want much much better performance at a sacrifice to camera.
I've compared poco X3 NFC (same CPU and ram as Redmi) and X3 Pro side by side, the difference is huge; specially with the 120hz on. As such for me the X3 pro is the winner, make sure to get the 8gb ram variant.I got the redmi for I think $358 delivered when it launched. Great phone. I reckon we're a year or two away from 5g being widespread enough to be much of a consideration.

Been considering this phone for a while.
Only hesitation is the camera and photo quality, anyone have one and can share some opinons of someone that uses the phone? I find the online reviews pretty negative but they might be bias comparing them to flagships.
Not the best camera but fine enough for scanning documents.
I have the G8 which was released a few months prior last year, it's just an ok camera because it lacks OIS. Need to hold quite still to get a clear photo, and the ultrawide is only decent in good light and with HDR on (which sometimes doesn't activate). The 48MP main sensor this has should be superior.
The 2021 models such as the G10 come with a new Moto Camera app which is much better, I've tried it.
Motorola phones far better than Samsung. Clean pure Android experience and better price.

Damn it! I price matched $388 at JB yesterday. So far its great. Very fast and smooth.
Officeworks refused to price match because they use some obscure model number 'PAK90009AU' (actually a part number) that no other retailers list online. Really pissed me off as its clearly an identical phone. Motorola themselves dont even use that number on their website!
