      • Thanks @miracle . Exactly what I thought 😃

    • +1

I've tried both on BES875. I'd prefer AIRJO a little better in terms of taste (espresso with milk) , but lime blues are also good (but I don't like their postage cost 8.99 AUD for non-express delivery).

I'd wonder if they offer 40% for long term subscriptions, I'd stick to AIRJOs.

      • Agree with their shipping. I usually like buying 2 x 500gm bags as I only consume coffee twice a day and big packs loose their freshness soon. But the difference is way too much with these Airjo beans for 2 x 500gm bags.

When are you going to remove Coinbase?

  • Great product and service from Dan and the team at Airjo. Keep up the good work :)

    • Thank you so much JJ 👍🏼

Great coffee. Great customer service. I had an issue last time and they not only replied super quick, but they also fixed it. Really happy with them.

    Keep the good work guys!

Pd: My kid is really going to miss those jelly beans lol

    • +1

To be honest, disappointing the kids was why we held off stopping so long 😁

…….and we humbly apologise to all the young (and not so young) sweet tooth’s that will need to find a new naughty nibble for now 🙏

  • 1kg cold brew grind is sold out.

Is there another type of grind that can be used in a KitchenAid cold brew maker?

    Thank you

    • Hey prodnus.
      Please try that one again.
That was an error at this end.
      Should be available now. 👍🏼

      • Ah thanks for the prompt reply. I ended up ordering the 500g just in case it sold out and will give it a whirl. Also read through your grind guide and understand it might be worth getting a burr grinder for longevity.

Just wondering how many months are the pre-grinded bags good for?

        Looking forward to it.

        Cheers

        • +1

Hey prodnus. Yes having your own grinder will significantly improve your coffee flavour experience. If it’s an option for you we certainly recommend it.

The pre ground coffee will be fantastic for the first week and then slowly degenerate. It will still be good some weeks later but if you can consume it within the first week or 3 you will be getting the best out of it.

Always keep the coffee in a cool dry area.

          Hope that helps.
          Cheers
          Dan

Thx op, ordered x2 1kg. Really enjoyed the Enterprise Blend, will give this one a try now.

    • Great stuff muzzy. Thank you.
Please let us know how it compares to the Enterprise for you.

      Thanks again
      Dan

  • Wow, can't believe I got the shipping information already and it is close to midnight…

    This is indeed express post

    • Woohoo!! Fast & Fresh……

  • First time customer. Bought 1kg to try out.

    • sschen thanks so much for giving us a try.
Please let us know how it goes for you.

      Sincerely
      Dan

  • I have just ordered 1kg and I’m excited to try this coffee. I normally purchase Sicilia Coffee from Adelaide. Thanks for the discount! Do you also add some samples in your deliveries?

    • Thanks so much Daniel!!!
Rather than send individual samples we have a full box of samples you can buy whenever it suits.
We call the the “Party Pack” on the website 👍🏼

      • Wow, those Sicilia prices are low!

        Shipping hurts a little.

Are they freshly roasted? Are their quality up-to-snuff with a lot of these other independent roasters (e.g. Lime Blue, Airjo, Inglewood)?

        • Sicilia are freshly roasted - see below reply when I asked this question via email.

We roast our beans on demand in small batches (8-9kg a roast) to guarantee freshness. Most beans are roasted after orders come in, however we do roast some blends up front in small amounts. Because we have a large regular customer base, these beans are sent out with a maximum of 1-3 days after being roasted.

After roasting, coffee beans need to sit for around 24-48 hours to release their natural gasses. On most occasions we use the transit time to our customers for this process to take place.

As for quality haven't tried yet but read some good feedback online.

      • I hope you do sale for this party pack one day.
So we can try all product and find out our favorite.

  • bought a kilo, heard a lot about this from a friend.
tried the Twilight blend before and enjoyed it a lot.

    • +1

Thanks so much Kraise - great to hear the good news is spreading :)
Please let us know how it goes for you.

  • Just finished my Sumatra and received a bag of Twilight. Trying to get the whole office onto Airjo haha

    • Thanks chonga5!! That's a great plan :)

  • Just ordered! Never had your coffee before, so I am looking forward to trying it out. 👍

    • Really appreciate the chance OmboKing - please do tell us what you think when you can.

      Thanks
      Dan

Hi OP, do you have free sample that we can try before buy please ? I have always been using coffee pods and starting to look for using coffee beans or ground coffee, but unsure which coffee beans. Cheers

  • -1

Timing of this deal could have been a day earlier, because I got half a kg bag from Aldi.
But I ordered this anyways, I like the this coffee.

    • +1

Hey nadan - thanks so much for your order and feedback - lets hope the timing is better for you next time.

      Cheers
      Dan

  • too many to choose from

Anyone of them similar to Moccona Freeze Dried Instant Coffee Classic Medium Roast which i can make at with with frothier :)

  • Frustrating that I always check for these deals (and always purchase my coffee from AirJo), only for me to purchase and then a deal go up mere hours later, happened yesterday. Maybe next time.

  • Thanks for Sicilia comments will give them a go and see, already tried Arjo

  • Code isn't working for me. Selected 1kg beans.

    • Code worked for me just now. Purchased 1kg beans

    • Hey PJ - seems all good at this end and working for others - are you trying with Sumatra?

If still not working please PM me and I will try and sort it with you.

      Cheers
      Dan

  • How long will these beans stay fresh afer opening? I love alone so it takes me a while to get through 500g. My inner cheaparse wants to buy the 1kg as it works out much cheaper.

    • +1

Not sure, but we freeze ours to make it last longer.

    • +1

I buy 1kg and freeze some.

2 month old beans vs frozen beans: the frozen beans are much fresher.

      • Wouldn't the bean will have some moisture once it is out from freezer ?

        • +1

That's what I thought too, but it's pretty good. Sometimes we grind from frozen, sometimes we pour out more frozen beans than needed and let them defrost. It's completely fine

          • @kati: Do you need to dry them out before you grind them ?

        • +1

I take it out the night before

          • @dajackal: What about freezing ground coffee (dont yet have a grinder)? Is this advisable?

            • +2

@umz93: not sure buddy. but do yourself a favor and get yourself a grinder (hand grinder is fine for filter/french press).

    • Thank you all for the storage tips

  • I have a Delter Coffee Press. It’s similar to an AeroPress. Would the AeroPress grind be appropriate?

    • Hey sween64 - aplogies for the delayed reply - yes, we recommend you go with AeroPress Grind.
Let us know how that works our for you please.

      Thanks
      Dan

  • How long will the beans last in good condition? - I'm still waiting for my grinder to come from this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/624541
My question different from above because they will remain unopened until grinder arrives.

    • +3

Roast is listed as light, 6-8 weeks after roast will be the end of the optimal and best drinking time. It will still be fine and perfectly drinkable and relatively good after that just not as good.

  • Rep, what's the best pre ground one to select for use with a double wall basket - espresso?

    • Yes tezza 👍🏼 Espresso

  • Thanks airjo, ordered 1kg to try as still have some limebluecoffee to go through from their last deal.

  • Ordered the 1Kilo thanks 😁 Looking forward to trying it in my 4 cup bialetti moka pot.

Has anyone tried it using the moka & how did it go pls? Thanks 😊

    • Thanks so much bargainhunter777.
Please tell us how it goes for you in the moka.

  • Hi Dan. Usually I am with Inglewood coffee but happy to try you out. I am going with the Sumatra and Enterprise blend.

    • Hi Macawin - sincerely appreciate the opportunity. Thank you.

  • Do you have any decaf options for the missus? Or can refer to any organic decaf coffee? Cheers

    • +1

No decaf sorry Phillchops - hopefully someone here can help with a recommendation.

  • Thanks Dan, ordered some more this morning.

    • Always appreciated ArmyKnifey - thanks so much for your continued business and support.

      Cheers
      Dan

  • Guys and Gals…. - apologies for delayed replies last few hours - you guys have got us crankin!! - on it now…

    • Hi Rep, do you guys do gift wrapping at all? Thanks

      • Hey jnbluv2h - flick me a PM so we can discuss - Cheers Dan

  • hi, just placed order but forgot to choose espresso beans
will shoot thru PM now, cheers

  • How do these beans compare to Inglewood Sunset Blvd? Anyone?

  • what's the best way of making this coffee if not having a coffee machine ??

    • +1

Best way would be to buy a coffee machine :)

  • Just received the order. Fast dispatch. Smells great. Cheers

    • Great to hear Foodstamps!! - Thank you.

  • Highly recommended. My last couple of bags of coffee beans have come from Airjo, had the Sumatra first and then the Enterprise blend. Very fresh and excellent tasting coffee beans, even in my superautomatic machine.

    • +1

Thanks so much tooch83 - really appreciate it.
Super glad you are enjoying multiple blends.

      Cheers
      Dan

  • This guy (Dan) knows how to ozbargain.
Great price, respondes to everything, pumps your order out so fast you get it in 1.5 days and a great product to top things off.

    Legend. Thanks heaps

    • Ok - now we are blushing……….. Thank you!! - definitely a team effort here :)

  • Is it possible to use two different coupons in one order or should I split it into two?
I've never tried Airjo beans before, so would like to give it a go. I don't know what beans are best for milk based coffees, so based on comments decided to go with 0.5kg of Sumatra and 0.5kg of Enterprise. Sumatra has a coupon for 40% discount and Enterprise has a coupon for 20%. How do I aggregate this into one order?

    • Hey MOMEHT - I don' think the system will allow 2 codes, so go ahead and place 2 separate orders and I will grab them and ship them together.

Hope that helps and thanks so much for giving us a try.

      Cheers
      Dan

      • Thanks a lot for assistance!
And while you are here, could you please advise if my choice of beans is ok for latte's and long blacks?

        • My pleasure :)
Yes - Super Duper choices - you will love both we are sure.

          Thanks again.

  • Has anyone's order shipped yet? My order is sitting on being prepared in the auspost app for two days. I remember last time I had a problem with my address and the order never sent.

    • Hey itsross - reach out on PM with your order number and I will see what I can see here.

      Cheers
      Dan

  • What kind of grind would you need for a Bellman CX25P? I would like to buy some for hubby to take travelling.

    • Hey LittleBoo. The CX25P is a great bit of kit. I use Stovetop Grind with mine and it works a treat.

      Hope that helps.
      Cheers
      Dan

      • Thank you for the advice. We usually use paper filter with it, but I'm assuming with the stovetop grind we can give it a miss or would we still need the paper filter?

        • That one I’m not sure on. I’ve never used the filter paper so can’t compare with vs without. Maybe someone else here could help?

Maybe try it with and without yourself and see what’s best 🤷‍♂️

Sorry couldn’t help with that one.
          Cheers
          Dan

  • I got my beans today, damn they smell amazing. The box has a stab mark in it, just like my last Auspost delivery (from eBay). No damage done to the coffee packaging.

    • Hey Loopholio - thanks for letting us know - if you still have the box, would you mind sending me a photo to [email protected] so I can follow up at this end.

Glad the package is all good and you have that MAGIC aroma going on!!!

      Cheers
      Dan

  • Hi Dan, can you extend this discount for people in Melbourne? We need more good coffee at least for the next six days!

  • Great service and amazing coffee!! Will order again soon when I receive my own coffee machine

  • How do these compare to grinders crema coffee beans? Do you reckon its worth twice the price?
    Thanks

  • I'm having trouble pulling a decent shot with these beans from my espresso machine. .

    Im using 18g coffee….. 36 -40ml 28seconds roughly.
