ViewSonic VX2705-2KP-MHD 27" 1440p 144hz IPS FreeSync Monitor $299 @ Scorptec & PCCaseGear & CPL

170

Seems like a good price on a 27" 1440p 144Hz monitor. Over at CentreCom it's $349

  • This or wait for the eBay dell deal?

100% wait, this is a terrible product, and it's entirely cashing in on the success of Viewsonic's previous model.

Seems ok based on that review, while it seems that it wouldn't be good for gaming since its a lot slow. It would make a great second monitor for most people since its high resolution, high refresh and decent colours. but i have no idea about monitors and colours and stuff so correct me if I'm wrong.

        • Might as well get a 4K 60Hz monitor below this price. 144Hz is kinda funky if you don't have the response times to go with it.

    • What ebay deal is are you talking about?

This brand is hopeless, very bad quality, although they are cheaper.

Got any… like… reasons? I just bought a viewsonic 2718 the other day and i'm not totally sold on a curved screen at 27" so looking for a reason to take it back…

    • Not really, like basically every other brand they have some good products some bad products.

As jasswolf pointed out however, this particular monitor is definitely not great.
