About porting your own number to Boost:
You can request porting your own number to Boost when activating the SIM. Before porting number, contact your current service provider to confirm personal details. Make sure your Name and Date of Birth registered with the number are 100% correct including spaces. Ask to update your details if anything is incorrect. Once confirmed, provide the exact same details to Boost to initiate the porting. Some carriers will send you a SMS to authorise the porting request, so make sure the current SIM is inserted until the service is disconnected. Telstra users need a separate blank SIM (Boost will send you for free) to finish the process.

Please contact Boost Mobile on 1800 100 933 if you have further questions.

  • Why would anyone take this, as its a risk it will still activate Boost Anytime "Plus" plan.

Also, the new plans are providing 150GB data with plenty offers on the selling price, coming close to $156 I reckon.

    • +1

In my case, it has unlimited international minutes to a country that on the new plans had only 1200 minutes. Data is not that important as i spend most of my time home

      • -2

International calls are only important to those that need it.

        • Yes, that's what i just explained. So for someone who needs international calls, this would be a good plan

        • +1

          Hence "in my case".

      • City checks out

        • +1

Haha, interesting to see that that's how others see Melbourne. :)

  • GST invoice included?

  • yes GST INVOICE INCLUDED

  • i bought one and return it last time, only includes 20gb now

NOW ALL PROBLEM HAVE FIXED !
    NOW IT IS 80GB

HEY JUST THOUGHT I'D LET YOU KNOW THERE'S A REPLY BUTTON!

    Wow. So much shouting!

    • What? Can't hear you.

  • Does Boost supports 5G?

  • And what about eSim? Thanks

  • Support VoLTE?

    • Yes, Boost provides VoLTE if you have a supported handset & firmware.

  • Best way to recharge on boost? Two plans coming up to the first expiry.

Does boost normally provide some sort of special offer to recharge with them?

    • +1

If you have the old plans, just recharge as is and you can keep the plan.

No more offer though. So $150/yr for 80GB. But compared with the new plans, the old plan already sounds like a bargain for those who don’t need extra data.

  • does this option have message bank?

  • -2

Kogan 80GB $130/year unlimited calls/txt. Is better. I'm currently on Boost, network is horrible, higher speeds but only in the city areas. Will be switching to Kogan after my prepaid expires.

    • Boost, network is horrible, really with Telstras network?

    • +3

If you think telstras network is bad, you’ll be in for a shock with kogans Vodafone.

I bought this sim last year in Aug and activated in dec 2020. It was showing just 20gb and limited minutes to some countries instead of unlimited. Talked to them for 2 months and they kept saying it will be fixed, there is something wrong with the servers. Finally after 2 months i was told that this plan was valid till Aug 10 and it was announced on their website, that i checked and was true. But my point was that what if someone, like me, havent checked the website and bought the sim. They said nothing can be done. I had to lodge a complaint with the Ombudsman and even then they said that $150 option is not available anymore but as i bought the sim and sim pack mentions that it needs to be activated by 2022, they offered me other plan, which is probably $300 plan. I told them i dont need that much data and not even unlimited calls, if they can just give me 80gb data, i will be happy but i was told there is no option for that, they can only offer one of the current plans and they are giving me their best plan to compensate for all the trouble. I would prefer $150 plan so that i could continue with it by recharging every year. But i was told that is not an option anymore after 10 Aug 2020

    • if you sign up for the $150 plan, when u next recharge using the mobile app, the $150 recharge option will show up in the list.

Speaking from experience as both my oldies are on the $150 & i recharged both their mobiles in the past cpl days.. Also received a bonus 60GB (140GB total data) for recharging but think that offer ends June 30th..

      • My wife is also using that for more than 2 years but that plan was discontinued after Aug, 10 last year. I don't know if are allowing old sims to be activated after my experience. But they announced on their website that this plan will not be available after 10 Aug and that's what they told me as well.

So long as as its active U can recharge the same $150 12mth plan. Did it 3 days ago 💯..

          • @Bunsen: Does their website work, the recharge.boost.com.au site errors out on my laptop. have they locked it to their network only (i.e mobile)?

            • +1

@the4thzodiac: Dunno mate, i used the boost app on each phone to recharge. btw, there's also 2x Boost apps for Android, 1 works the other 1 doesn't show any account for me.

          • +1

@Bunsen: As long as you activated before Aug 10, 2020. Don't know if they have changed that now. But they told me in March 2021 that although the sim pack says it can be activated by 2022 but that plan is not available after Aug 10, 2020. If you have activated before that, you can continue to recharge every year. My friend recharged last week without any issue. Problem is only for new customers activating after 10 Aug

            • @sidozziee: So what did you end up doing? The $300 plan or refund or stuck with 20gb

              • @spc12go: $300 plan.

                • @sidozziee: Did you have to pay the difference or was it a free upgrade? Trying to active a sim I got last year and so far not much luck.

                  • @spc12go: Didnt need to pay anything. Asked for a refund but they said its not possible as sim is already activated so we can offer another plan.

                    • @sidozziee: Lucky you. They only offered me additional 75gb, and I can request it anytime. Won’t let me change plan.

  • Hi Op, just wondering if you have the 240gb 12 months plans for Sale?

  • So what's the option for new SIMs, if I want to be in international inclusion list of 150 plan (25 countries), can I do it by buying new SIM like this ?
