You can buy Coles Myer group gift card and still get the statement credit unless you don’t shop there or fill up at Coles Express too.

Can you only buy the gift cards in-store at liquorland? Mines a long drive away so it's probably not worth the fuel money to go there and buy a gift card.

Bought a gift card at LL but the merchant showed up as 1st choice liquor on amex..? That was 6 days ago and did not get credit
Do you have the receipt from LL? If you do go and lodge a complaint with AMEX to see how they go about it. My experience with them is mixed which depends on who you are speaking to. Good luck.

Not sure as was not interested until mentioned here that could purchase the Coles Myer GC. If I did I did not use it.

No, but I bought a Sony lens last week and at the time I was wondering if an Amex/Sony EOFY deal will come. They had one in January, so I thought they aren't going to have another one so soon. Could have waited because there was no urgency to get that lens then, Sony's cashback promotion goes all the way to end of June.
Such is the bargain hunter's life. My problem is that I am in Melbourne and not sure if I want to risk my life going to Liquorland to get the GC's. Maybe it will be all over in 14 days.
Are there any other ways to trigger the liquorland cash back? I don't buy from there but am considering driving to the store to get a Coles Myer Gift Card. But if there's another way to get gift cards online and still qualify I'd much prefer that.
