  • What’s the contract term ?

    • +1

      24 months

    24 months*

  • Have to add a plan, right?

  • Not worth it for ultra considering they are are cheaper upfront and have to pay extra for the network plan.

  • 24 month plans arent a deal normally and the previous JB deals workout better as not locked into 24months and a few hundred cheaper almost close to the galaxy watch (real not
    overinflated price)

  • This isnt a great deal. Sure it gives you the Watch3 (LTE version) but those have been way cheaper than $799 before. The requirement of stacking a phone plan with paying off the phone saw a cost of $159 per month for a 12 month plan for the S21 5G.

FYI for everyone considering this deal - the watch being offered is the 41mm size NOT the 45mm size. Definitely not worth $799 as advertised as it has been cheaper before.

  • This is a deal?

FYI - Galaxy Watch 4 coming out later this year. Samsung have abandoned Tizen OS platform for watches and are working with Google on new version of WearOS - this new version is not coming to legacy Galaxy smartwatches.

  • Only issue is the watch doesnt have an upgrade path to the new watchos of the new ones coming out?

i regret switching from my perfectly good iPhone XR to Samsung Galaxy S21+ 256GB.

it's super slow and clunky. the camera app especially is so laggy, you can't take pictures sometimes with the crazy shutter lag. At times you can't even quit the photo app after using it. When Android Auto is turned on when i connect to my car, the phone would literally brick itself. I'm getting about 5 fps max when switching between tabs. Go to Reddit and you would see lots of individuals complaining about similar experience. it isn't just an Exynos issue, Snapdragon units have the same problem as well. Ultras from what i've seen don't suffer from it.

Video quality is ABSOLUTELY POTATO if you turn on the stabiliser. So it has to stay off.

doesn't matter how good the hardware is, the clunky software really let it down. Was told May update would fix it but it's already June and i have not received any update.

rubbish phone, i only have myself to blame for switching from Apple to Android. just waiting for iPhone 13 now. never again

    • I believe its not the Android, its just Samsung. I generally don't like Samsung products as well. I have been on Huawei M20 after years of using iPhone (still have lots of other Apple products) and though initially doubtful of Android, I'm now convinced. But I still wouldn't jump on Samsung, would've stick with Huawei if not for the Google Play Store drama.. probably will go Google phone for my next upgrade.

  • 24 months for a phone … so long

  • Is Telstra offering an extra $500 on trade ins at the moment? It seems to be what the website says but I'm not 100% sure?

I'm thinking to purchase an s21 128gb 5g + $65 plan +$500 bonus trade in + $50 phone trade in + price match to Samsung store ….Hoping to get it below the $99 JB offer including the phone.

    Is it possible?
