    We're pre-ordering last-gen graphics cards now… I'm out, boys.

    • Came here to say this. Quite a ridiculous scenario we find ourselves in!

  • +2

That's going to be a no for me chief

  • +13

Remember when we were laughing at those people paying $1000 for RTX2080Ti's late last year.

    • -6

True but you could've easily just went to PLE/Centrecom etc website and get yourself a RTX3080 for $1200-$1400. Very easy to get on launch.

      • +4

Very easy to get my stinking hole. My sister's TUF OC 3080 from October/November last year is still MIA.
At launch all models insta sold out & if you wanted one it was a min 3 month waitlist (most people got it that last big batch October 2020).

        • I was able to purchase one early Jan with only 1 week wait for it … You just need to know which store to place order and order less popular AIB cards. The reddit mega thread aided me to getting one.

        • -7

That's just you, I had a 3080 in my cart that night 1 hour after launch, but chose not to buy because I don't PC game anymore. Don't vent your failure onto other people.

Was the exact same thing as the PS5, easy bought two at launch.

          • @plmko: then good for you. You are one of the lucky one while there are hundred of thousand of people couldn't win that. So Congrat

I am sitting here waiting for my 3070 for god know how long. Purchase on launch day, and here I am too afraid to cancel order because that will cost me another 3070

    • I'm still happy with my 1080 to avoid paying anything for last gen cards

    Isn't this a decent price?

  • hahahaha , pre-order 2060!!!!
Thanks but no from me , waiting for my 3060Ti to come

  • -3

2060 for the price of a 3060. Yeah no thanks. I'll just keep my old card.

    • +1

Was the 3060 ever this price even at launch?

      • +3

Where to find 3060s at this price?

  • +1

    hhahaahahahahawhahhahahahahahahaa

which year are we in again?

    2019!

    Go Nvidia! Get that money!

  • all-new NVIDIA Turing™

    That's very 2019.

  • Waiting for decent priced video cards is like waiting for the end of a pandemic.

I made this post as I was looking for affordable bang for buck graphics card…..this is not it as mentioned 2019 pricing insane right.
Now let's look at bang for buck graphics cards …Oh wait there aren't any.
In this crappy insane chipageddon world this the best decent card I have found and hopefully will be of some help to fellow Ozbarginers.

    Pre-order? A 2060? Seriously?

    • Yeah and it's only going to get worse from here I expect it shortages to start easing in atleast 1 years time and for stock to be normal in 2 to 3 years but we will see

  • While trolling 2nd hand markets come across this bargain ……
    NVIDIA GTX960 4GB For $500 ONO +del.
Ummm wonder if my AMD 5 3600 would work with this.

    • 3600 would suit this 2060 better, similar launch year, and similar aimed market range, entry gaming.
960 seems bit out, and $500 seems way overpriced.
wait mining market to crash if you can wait…
