    Just pointing out Jetstar have the worst policies when it comes to bookings which have to be cancelled because of COVID.

      How so?

      I just cancelled a Jetstar Melbourne-Hobart booking made under the strictest sale conditions. I still got full credit for a future flight.

        Virgin and Qantas (and my understanding Rex) are pretty much allowing unlimited changes and credits for any flights booked. I was. meant to fly out on Jetstar today but because the flight was after the original 7 day lockdown (even though it was highly likely Tasmania would have restrictions in place for Melbourne), Jetstar wouldn't do anything. I was only offered a credit after I had the misfortune of going to the wrong cafe and again I had to chase Jetstar, my understanding is that is nowhere near as complicated for Virgin or Qantas.

        Not having a go at Jetstar for this per se, I mean it is in the fine detail of the terms and conditions - just pointing out that the conditions are a lot more onerous than Virgin and Qantas and people should keep that in mind when booking.

          Ugh. Sounds like one of my many hair-pulling, teeth-gnashing adventures with Air Asia. I hope they treat you better if there's a next time.
