AMD Ryzen 5 3600 + ASUS PRIME B450M-A AM4 mATX Motherboard COMBO $319.20 Delivered @ Futu Online eBay

290
PFTUO10

Sure, you can buy yourself a nice new 5600X for $380ish, but this looks like a great price if you're willing to lower yourself to last gen tech. Seems like the motherboard is going for $90-$100 by itself so that makes the 3600 about $220-$230 in this deal.

EDIT - currynuts has pointed out in the comments below that its $5.10 cheaper at shallothead ebay

As a side note, why are they still making boards with VGA and DVI connections?

Cheaper by $5.10 here with eBay plus code: PLUSFLASH10

    • Looks like that might be for the CPU only? This posted deal has a motherboard included too.

You have to select in the dropdown 3600+ASUS B450M-A

As someone who is planning on assembling a new pc over the next 6 months (purchasing components as they go on sale) is this current enough to be good for the next 5 years, including compatibility with gfx cards?

5 years? Have you considered Zen 3 instead? 5600X?

Better off buying an 11400f for just over $200 and pairing with a b560 board like this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/628691

I’d recommend anyone considering this 3600 bundle deal to go that route.

For five years of use it might be better to spend the extra to get the $440ish 5600x / b550 combo also available in the link from Currynuts. But compatibility with gfx cards is unlikely to be an issue over that time. Or do as CompulsiveozB says and go the intel route for a good price. I’ve had my old i5-4570 for six years and it’s still not terrible so PCs are useful for longer than they used to be.

      • Yeah I was just about to say as a follow-up to my comment above, that 5600x + b550 combo is a great deal and may be worth the extra right now (to some people at least) over an 11400f + b560 combo.

        • Great thanks. I'll strongly consider this combo. Does it need a BIOS flash as it warns when I add it on pcpartpicker?

  • Does the bundle include CPU fan?

    • That’s a good question, I can’t find any answer in the listing
