I know. But it's just that I barely play games on my computer anymore as i won't be able to run the newest games and…well, I've always "bought" most of my games on the same store i get my Linux isos (the Buccaneer harbour)
You may get a new computer and a social conscience someday though!
@Meconium: Yes, definitely will get both as soon as finances settle and have some more time to play. I mean, i "get" some games, and then i never even finish them. There have been a few games that I've enjoyed so much that i end up buying them before i finish them.

And making big losses too (for their Games Store division… obviously making plenty of green elsewhere).
But they've got a marketshare now, with projections to grow.
There mightn't be a Valve monopoly in 5 years…

This is a piece of good news for our player. Steam has its competitor.
They will need to work improving their platform as well as it's suck compared to steam. I would rather pay for something on steam rather than get them free on epic. Epic software just purely sucks.

I can't say it "sucks" simply for having less features than Steam because I never use those features…
But they need to sort out cloud saves, the majority of times I start up FrostPunk, it hasn't synced my save games and I actually spend a lot of the between two locations currently…

This is why i have a Epics game account for, and why i don't like Steam as much. It's moving me away from other platforms

i've played this on switch but how to play this with other people on pc? is there a lobby to find other randoms to play with online or only private games allowed?

I can see the epic games working its magic. The first few freebies were pretty good but the platform seemed crap. Now i got a whole collection and that alone makes it one of the two primary platform for me. Rarely do i use origin, gog, etc. If i were to buy games, still it would be steam > epicgames for the same price but wouldn't mind buying on epicgames if it was a heap cheaper
The problem im starting to see now is launcher inception where a game on Origin is given away for free on Epic games and needs to run. You then have launcher upon launcher trying to run to play just one game (Im looking at you Battlefront 2!)
Try GOG Galaxy, only need the one launcher then.

Just checked and I have 201 games in my library. I think it might be Rocket League throwing it off by one but Im sure Ive missed one or two giveaways deliberately. Oh well. Still a decent haul!
I'm not counting any of the free to play titles. Just the paid titles that were free for a limited time. "Shadow Complex Remastered" was the first free giveaway back in 2015.

Hell Is Other Demons isn't showing in Epic website / launcher search. To manual find this and other free games. You'll need to select Store on the Epic website / launcher and locate it in the Free games section near the top.
With how trash Cyber Punk was at launch and how crazy Epic game is, you might as well expect Cyberpunk free on Epic Game by Christmas
