From my research, it wasn't.
I got this, works great!
Few annoying features, for example, it can mop and vacuum at the same time but you can't specify to not mop rugs etc, so you either have to vacuum then mop or move your rug? it also kept getting stuck in my shower and trying to go stupid places but after the first run I could restrict the areas off.
The V3 has the y mopping pattern and a bigger battery, not sure of you can specify no mop zones. I bought the V2 refurbished for 199 so this is a ripper deal!
The v2 has Y mopping pattern as well.
I've been very happy with my v2. If your expectations are reasonable, you would be happy with the v2. I found the mopping function surprisingly good.
@FickleRick: Settings button in the top right corner -> "Mopping and vacuuming & mopping mode" can "S-shaped mode" or "Y-shaped mode"
I bought the refurbished one too a few months back.. Did yours also arrived absolutely filthy?

Mine arrived pristine, like the box had never been opened, I guess it is luck of the draw.
My brother in law bought the refurb V3 and that was also seemingly new…

Set it up to vacuum first to detect the areas, then setup the rooms, restrict the movement etc for mopping with wallsSo every time I use mop, I draw up some quick walls and it works a treat
Is V3 worth the $100 extra?
